Can someone please refer me to an expert auto-electrician in Karachi who would be able to do a job on my car.
I have a 2000 Civic and want to have my centre console replaced. The wiring, harnesses etc for the new and old one are completely different. Primarily, the new centre console I have has got a variable (round knob for) AC whereas the old one had a traditional selector switch.
I have already been to Shani and Hashim, and another electrician on Tariq Road and 2 out of 3 of them said that I would need some more components (resistance convertor or something) and the third one didn't say any such thing..
Right now, I don't have a solution - just ridiculous labour charges and parts cost demands.
So I'm looking for some help from my PW brothers on this. Please guide me if any of you have had this console fitted or have knowledge about this wiring. I know pUnk had the same console installed so I've emailed him..
