Expert opinion about zic xq fully synthetic 5w-40

I need expert opinion about engine oil ZIC XQ fully synthetic 5w-40.

Please experts/owners that uses ZIC XQ in their car must share their experiences here regarding, fuel efficiency, performance level, noise after using using the zic xq.

I am hoping fruitful discussion will do here and must end with better conclusion. Thanks

ZIC oils r junk grade.

Always use Shell Helix from dealership of 50L drum. Plenty of them at Gulshan 13D.

That's a very bold statement IMO. Both Zic and Shell use Group 3 base oils and they both are good oils.

I would recommend you to go for Helix Ultra 5W40, it's Pure Plus Technology and it's the first time an engine lubricant is made by Gas to Liquid process, GTL. Zic is no doubt a good brand but you can't ignore the fact that Zic is packed in Pakistan, and if it's packed in Pakistan, God knows what Pakistani's have done to it.

Helix is not available in 50L drum, pack sizes available in Shell Helix are 1L, 3L, 4L and 209L Drum. Be careful with what are you using.

Zic is imported in drums by Hi Tech Lubricants Limited and packed in Lahore Pakistan.

asadilyas.acca is correct. zic are re-packed here but still quite best than many others.
my friend told me that mostly engine oils are imported in drums and then here we re-pack them.

but few companies like LM is being imported in 4L, 5L & 6L packings.

All I know that he never would have used other than Shell, Havoline / Delo or Mobil 1 in any of his cars here or US unless its the last can of oil left in world or if ZIC was free.

Nor Ferrari or Porsche ever used ZIC oils.

Its not about Genuine or packed in Pakistan, its about formulation.

A Shell Helix Ultra even Pakistani packed (its imported) can anyday outperform 20W50 oil packed on Mars.

When u make comparision only one is winner and others are losers. Shell Helix Ultra is 2nd to none if u disregard some limited production european engine oils. That is why its used by Scuderia.

Simillarly DELO Gold Ultra is best for various applications one cant even think about. I have used it in a 2C engine, JDM Corolla 2.2 D4D to old 88 Honda Accord & Civic gearbox and iron block A16 engines to lawn movers and a 50kva textile industry generator and it has never let me down.

ZIC is good for fleet cars & cabs where even Rs.100 would make great difference.

honestly, never used it as other branded lubes were cheaper to buy, In an old Honda D engine full synth lube is not required as its pretty easy on the oil, and in personal experience caltex delo 400 performed the absolute best in those D honda engines. Engine life was really long.

Bro how does Delvac MX compares to Delo 400 ? Its pretty cheap here now 5L for Rs. 2,500/- & Rs. 475/L from drum.

Mobil 1 is an old oil in Pakistan. Mobil was introduced in 1997 in Pakistan. It came in use after 2001 or 2002. People were unaware about synthetic oils, those times. Mobil was the one & only brand who introduced synthetic the very first time in Pakistan. Mobil is giving you the same best quality as was giving in past years. We can't change person psychic regarding brands. Engine oil plays the most important part for your vehicle. If you put the right lubricant in your vehicle it will definitely give you the best performance along with outstanding driving pleasure. Just keep in your mind the change interval. In winters the oil viscosity & burning factor is very less than summers. If you are change your oil at 8-10000/km-hr, in summer the drain interval would be 5-6000/km-hr. I am talking about MOBIL 1.

In addition visit MOBIL 1 official website of USA, just look go to the official distributor's of MOBIL 1 USA, you will find MAL Pakistan the one & only offcial distributor & partner of MOBIL 1. I can't change people minds, i have personally experienced lot of lubricants local & imported, but i found MOBIL 1 the best among all the other brands.
