Exploring Margalla (biking + scrambling) Sept 2011

On eid's third day, I along with three more friends get on two bikes , reached in margalla hills.
following an unknown track we reached at some place where water channels were flowing and place was magnificent. we get off from bikes and wandered in that region. after about 15 to 20 min walk we succeeded to reach water channel. from there we start scrambling. following water and boulders we reached a waterfall.

a walking trail to this place leads from neelan bhoto. i am forgetting the name of village up there,,, i will visit again to share the name of that place...

Any specific point at the road that could help us in reaching here?

exact 21km ahead daman e koh, there is a small bazar. from this bazar of 4 or 5 shops, the road folks. take the narrow, broken road towards ur right and be on that road. after driving about 15 mins of so again the track folks. take the left one that go down valley. keep on driving/ riding till the track ends. from there ask any local where is abshar.. its a bit of scrambling and bouldering to reach it.... i dont know of short cuts which may be there but actually there is no way to reach, but to boulder...

And i was just getting bored, called these bunch of awaragards one of them is hassan a pakwheel member and they accompanied me.. i was not known of this track neither known of what i will see or encounter.. and in the end, khowari rewarded me this waterfall...

actually neelan bhoto region needs a lot of explorations,, and so when ever i get some time, i just get into that region and wander on worn out treks or follow water streams ...

Actually the problem is that I,ll have to convince my gang first.
Those guys hate Pir Sohawa.
According to them "Yaar banda itni charhai charh ke ooper aata hai to agay na paani hai na aur kuch".

In 2009 we once went ahead Monal, Around 5km ahead Monal, but found nothing so came back.

Since you mentioned that we'll have to travel on a narrow, broken road after the baazar, so that means no car?
We,ll be needing bikes?

well a 4X4 can also work there,,,, and the pics u shown are not too far from monal, ...

in margalla there are lots of things that are unexplored and unknown.. come and do explore margalla hills.
