I was in love with this dream lake since last summer when I was gathering Info regarding Deo Sai planes.
For tha last one year i was gathering info to reach that lake.I made till lake just three days after my fellow Pak wheelers from lahore..With the same guide they took.
Hats off to them as well.I wish i could go there again.

Our Two Guides .Without there help it wont be possible to saw this piece of heaven..Mushtaq..Thanx for saving our lives....God bless You brother

After staying an hour or may be more.Rain started.So we rush back again.On decend , In hurry & rain, I got sliped on a glacier.Mushtaq guide was holding my hand.I was hanging on a very deep & dangerous ditch (Just like clif hanger movie)...By using all of my strenth & efforts of Mushtaq I was able to recover from a near death.
para Pilot was also about to fall on a spot we named parian (where one has to crap his fingers in cracks of a 90 degree rock) & than cross it on a deadly huge ditch.
By the grace of God be both were saved & rescused by our local guide.
Once again Thanx to them again...
We reached our base camp at abt 12:30 I dont remember the accurate time.It was raining, We settle the camp in rain & rush towards the village (the only kashmiri village in way of lake)...Here the rain stoped & the whole village come out to welcome us.we celebrate our victory there.Took snaps , had some food & move futher towrads Domel where tensed ,scared Bablu Bahi was waiting for us.

On way back we didnt stop till 1-Baloch mess Aathmuqam.We reached there at 3am at night.My salute to Jery Bahi again who again welcomed us with a smile at 3am & provided food to 6 hungry Jeepers.

Well Thats all folks for today.I m still in office.Very tired, wired, & now wife is calling on cell phone.

Parapilot! We met you on the Islamabad airport and conversed for a while. It is good to see an action-packed tale.

Well the 2nd last pic, the guy holding the gun agianst a Hilux, doesn't he look like Ricky ponting??? For a moment I thought aussies dont wanna visit pakistan for Cricket but would love to trek in remote valleys of Pakistan.

these valleys are super lush green in July august... u saw a prettier version of shonter lake... when we visited it was partially snow with think dust on it

Hasan AKA Sojourn, it was nice meeting you at the airport. I recognized you at the air port as I saw your photograph in one of your thread about Neelum Valeey.

Pakwheels indeed help to make friends. I never knew or met with any of the guys before going to the trip but it happened like we have been knowing each other for ages. I was a fun filled trip.

Thanks to Pakwheels that I was able to make it.

Excellent photography and hats off to ur stamina and effort.Indeed it's a very difficult trek.But snaps deikh kar tou mera bhi apki chummi layne ko dil kar raha hai..
BTW isn't it an unwritten ethical code that it's forbidden to do shave on these trips??y u and parapilot have shaved ur faces and to think of it i think u shaved ur legs as well ...
