Really Stunning photos and a heroic attempt by you guys.
This is one achievement that you all must be proud of as not many can reach to this lake.

I also failed to reach last year as it started raining when we came back from Tao Butt and couldn't attempt to go ahead from Kail. Anyways, Will do the attempt next year soon.

Would you guys please tell how many days tour this actually was??

Thank u so much for the incouraging words.
Beleive me it was not me who climbed till chitha Katha Lake..It was the will power which leads me till the lake.
I always select a target/destination first.Being son & brother of soldgers..I plan throughly for it...Than arrange funds for it..than go for it...in my books nothing is impossible....its all the will power & planing..& by grace of God...i never failed....
Thanx to Pak wheels....for connecting people like me & para pilot..adventure lovers..

It was a 7 day trip...4 days Jeeping..Two days treking..1 rest day
My next destination for 2009 Summer is Lake Karomer, Upper chitral valley...I already updated a thread (Jeep Safari Yasin Valley)....Inshallah next year I will make an attempt for Dream Lake Karomber (Near Wakhan Border)....Lets see....

It was a pleasure going through pictures and description of your trips. I was amazed to know that you plan to visit Kromer lake next year. Our trekking group led by Mustansir Tarrar visited it in mid ninties. Then it had just been opened after the cold war. An incomparable fabulous place.
Unfortunately I had to drop out but can get you all the information that you might need. Please let me know if interested.
