Export certificate is must be original with all documents?

DEAR ALL PLEASE LET ME KNOW ABOUT IMPORTED JAPANESES CAR LIKE VITZ , BELTA ETC...

It is necessary that the exportcertificate of Japanese must be original copy with all documents, OR NOT ????

I am not sure, but when I imported my Vitz, the original Export Certificate came along with all documents, and its now submitted with E&T Islamabad along with all other docs.

They changed the policy, a while ago an attested copy was sufficient but now you need the Original one.

Crux

For registration you need the genuine one
&
For transfer an attested copy can do.

an dont let anyone tell you otherwise.

I do this all day long.

Export certificate is not required in transfer at ict excise

The last purchase I did, it didn't matter if the export certificate is a copy or a original. But it is a mandatory document for registration
