Is it necessary to have an export certificate present in the file for the transfer of ownership?
I recently bought a Suzuki Alto 2007/13 and went on to the excise & taxation department for transfer of ownership. The clerk there said my file was missing an export certificate, I'm 100% sure these are tactics for chai pani but still curious if this is some serious issue.
I have a bill of lading present.
