Some unfortunate information has come to light regarding the Infinity speakers. It turns out that the dust cap on one of the drivers MAY be re-glued. This comes equally as a surprise to me since this item was purchased brand new by me in a sealed box. Initially I thought it was just a matter of poor quality control by the company but as has been pointed out to me this may not be the case and the dust cap may possibly have been re-glued. There is however an equally good chance that the item is NOT in fact re-glued and it is simply a one-off cosmetic defect. Pictures follow. You be the judge. I don't want anyone to be misled.
Maybe I was conned by the seller. Maybe I was not and this is a factory defect. In either event, there is no information to support the argument that this is not what I am claiming it is (i.e. a brand new unused item) so I will continue selling it as that.
The GOOD news is that I am willing to accept a further reduction on the asking price because of this issue. I was asking for an already very reasonable Rs. 11,500. If anyone is interested, feel free to send me your best offer. No foolish offers please. A re-glued dust cap (assuming that is even the case) will not affect performance so kindly keep that in mind when sending in your offer. I have attached 2 additional photos of the speakers from the back to show their otherwise pristine condition.
