Facing jerks & vibrations while shifting from 1st to 2nd gear

Asalam o alaikum fellow members

Iam facing some jerks while shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. I usually upshift at 1.5-2 rpm & as i release the clutch pedal, i feel jerk. On 2nd gear the throttle reaponse is low & then it picks speed & then it drives normally. Filled around 14 litrea of hi octane with half fuel tank of super, then i face the same issue although pick got improved on 2nd gear. Mileage on odo is 21k.

Well maintained from honda 3s & never drove roughly. Kindly suggest what could be the problem?

plz suggest an good mechanic who know honda city & is not a ripoff as these honda 3s mechanics are at the workshop?

Model 2017. Yes it behaves normally after 2nd.

For the throttle response, shifting under 2k rpm for a 1.3 is sort of torture, thats why the throttle response is less initially because it doesn't produce enough torque. As for the jerk, does it also come when you release the clutch very gently?

Yes it comes while releasing clutch. It feels the supply of petrol has cut for 0.5seconds then it comes back to normal.

If i visit honda workshop, for tuning what is the procedure they follow for tuning?

Im also having same problem in my city 2016, also looking for solution , like feeling jerk in 1st & 2 nd gear, while releasing clutch, very annoying, i feel that its clutch plate problem.
honda service points are shits, i went for checking and they said its driving issue, should release clutch very gently, i have done everything but issue is not solved....if you find any soultion let me know as well....

When they drive it, does it still jerk?

no they drive very slow & carefully....so it does not fell jerking...

however i have come to know when went to honda 3S dealer workshop, as my car TWC /Catalytic convertor is stuck up, chocked due to bad fuel....which makes accelerating power lose in 2nd gear, they showed me TWC holes closed due to kachra/carbon on it.
honda workshop told me approx. 6500/rs. for opening & cleaning of it.....and they said after that no jerking and less power issue will be resolved ...
what do you suggest all expertise pls ????

2017 model.means that your car is still under warranty, isnt it? You should take it to a 3S service center.

happens to mine city 2016 mid dec. . .its juz 12k km driven. . .it happens when u release clutch too fast. . .try leaving it slowly n smoothly it will neva happen !

Did you put in water/vegetable oil in it???
In 21k, and a 2017 car, cat converter can't get clogged this easily, i think that they are just trying to play you.
Why don't you look for other people with similar cars and test theirs before performing this activity

Cat con doesnt chock that easy unless you use your car for incredibly short trips or use ancient old school mineral zddp rich oil

Update : Went to 3s kalma chowk workshop. Talked yo the senior supervisor/mechanic who is a nice person. Listened to my problem & then drove himself. He said its a hydraulic clutch & it was too much dry, so he told the mechanic to apply grease for the noise the clutch was making upon releasing & then it was very much free. As far the jerk is concerned he said due to dryness it was not working properly, so it will now work fine. I then drove myself & now i feel it works fine. As for jerks he cleaned the air filter & told me to put high octane with 60:40 ratio & then check. He told me its quite normal to have jerks while shifting gears. So change the gears at low rpms & release the clutch slowly.

Right now, eveything is running smoothly apart from tyres they r making strange noises as well as the car is vibrating at 30,40 kmph.

Done the cleaning of catalytic convertor with some acid & chemical from workshop, it was chocked up to 40%, only i feel pick improved a bit 10% only not much so noticeable difference, as was told by Honda 3s mechanic,,,pick will be lot better but not the case....all just shittt.....waste of time & money....i com to know as told by Honda 3s mechanic, who was working on Sunday for some earning,,,,, that at Fsd. Honda dealership they are paid 10 to 12 thousand salary per month only,,, while he & most of mechanics were working more than 7 years there....as well trainees work there.....so they have lack of interest in work......and ruined our cars ..... only work to get label of Honda etc.........which is really a spot on Honda policy and management.....why they are playing with customer's hard earned money through unskilled & less paid mechanics & trainees......really shame ......while we pay huge maintenance cost to Honda 3s, while they are not paying proper pay to their mechanics & workers.......really shame...& will not go to honda 3s onward... for maintenance purpose......
