Facing problem with Temperature Guage

Hello Friends.. Friends i am having Honda civic (2005) model, the car mileage is 155000. Two month back I just buy this car. Currently I am facing just one issue of heat up. While driving in rush hour the car temperature goes in middle which i think it should not go. Temperature gauge knob is change, thermostat valve is change, automatic fan switch is change. But today again I face this problem so can anyone let me know what is main issue. Radiator is serviced properly no leakage, fan is working perfectly fine. Please help me out in it.

If its in the middle its perfectly normal
Thats where it should be its the correct tempraure reading
If it goes beyond middle then its over heating

but sir i have seen many car their temperature gauge is below the middle. Actually next month I am planing for to visit Naran site with family that's i want to be sure about the car.

I have attach the picture you can see it the needle is in middle this only happened when i was crossing ghazi road at 7:45PM

It should stay below half.. And in picture it seems its above half. Check the coolant condition... Never use water instead of coolant. Any oil leaks or coolant loss noticed? White smoke? Do u see some whitish residue on the OIL CAP when u open it?

It’s in the middle and that’s where it should be for an engine at normal operating temperature. Slight variations occur when the fan turns on and off but that’s perfectly normal.

Drive on the highway and see if it moves up.

No my friend no leakage from radiator even not from water body, no oil leakage yes i just check it no whitish residue infect yesterday at this point i just turn off the ac and put some acceleration till 2000RMP radiator fan was working perfectly fine and after 2 hour then again i drive the car the needle was in normal means below half

i was thinking too to test the car on ring-road one time before going with family trip or i have to check the car by scanner

If you have your own scanner that shows water temperature connect it and drive a little. The radiator fan comes on at 206ºF. As long as coolant temperature stays below 240•F you’re safe. Above 240•F is trouble territory.

Also don’t trust temperature gauges. They’re just an estimation. They aren’t really accurate
beyond telling u if it’s very cold or very hot or normal.

Ideally the tempertaure gauge should be a tad bit lower from the middle point. Yours seem a little high for this car.

What rating T-stat valve are you using?
Whats the condition of fan? I reckon its not running optimally.

If you have a cheapo ELM scanner hook it up and note the coolant temperature readings.

Also you say the temperature gauge is changed. What do mean by that? Fiddled with the speedo? If yes then the temperature gauges have been disturbed.

If everything else is OK then I suspect a malfunctioning water body.

Sir i had the same car.. It used to heat up quite often.. I got everything done from honda, Gasket done too.. They said that the radiator needs servicing and it’ll be fine. But even after that the car used to heat up. I sold the car and the new owner just changed the radiator from bilal gunj and he says the car never heats up again.

Before thinking of replacing parts randomly in hopes of getting a fix. First check the coolant temperature with a cheap elm scanner and see if your gauge is accurate. There might not even be any problem. Just an uncalibrated temperature gauge.

but sir masla bhi tu horha hai, radiator full service karwaya radiator ki tanki bhi khula wa kar har trhaan se service hoga hai radiator cap bhi change karwa chuka houn
