No my city is an EXi and got none of that.

However the central locking and keyless entry (alarm thingy) I got in it still works fine. Only had one central locking motor to change, nothing else.

Not bad for 5-6 years innit ?

Our factories dont use some special high quality stuff, hell ... half the time, its worst stuff!

In any case, things like these are in no way to justify a hatchback from a company reputed for its ultra pathetic quality being more value than a sedan from another company with far better reputation for quality and reliability. Ok so forget 15,000 ... how about 50,000 for fogs + power windows etc ... still doesnt get you a trunk, or better quality for that matter.

Swift as a million rs SUZUKI HATCHBACK is ... stupid. First ... a million for a local assembled HATCHBACK ? That too a ... SUZUKI ? Had it been a Honda hatchback for 1mill ... it would have made sense. But with PS's BS quality ... id rather be buying myself an old City/Civic/Vitz ... anything but a Suzuki

a Cultus Vxl was around 650+
Baleno around 749
City 825-850

and now when a

Rolla is Gli is 1414,
a City is 1250
A Cultus is Vxl is around 850-900

then y isnt Swifts price justified?

Prices have increased overall Suzuki didnt jumped Swifts prices.

And Finaly ur City was made in gud times, even Hondas quality of material is diminished with time.

Just as chinyoti has mentioned one should look at the whole market. Sure the Swift is expensive, but which car is not these days. On average prices of all cars have gone up considerably.

How Can Somone Defend PakSuzuki, It is absolute fool in paradise. Car who has model of 20 years old crap. I must say they even dont know about the word of Quality,Safety,Durability & product design. Please dont use cost effectiveness as a lame excuse for producing low quality cars. Nobody is going to agree with you. you are just wasting time. Take your sales figure and market leadership with you its only quantity not quality.

i dont know why people always bash suzuki. i have used suzuki khyber and suzuki baleno and long time ago my father had imported suzuki carry from abroad. none of these car gave us any major problems and we ran them on regular maintenance only.

the reliability of a vehicle depends largely on the way it is used. to me suzuki is as reliable as honda. (used to have an accord too)

agree with mad house suzuki is not as bad as pak wheelers r making it.some time i thin pakwheels name should b changed to hondawheels
i also suzuki khyber,alto,margalla n now baleno no as such big issue agar insano ki tarah chalo to no issues

People care about there civics, change oil after 2500 km and regularly get them check from authorised honda work shops but suzukis are always treated badly people often forget to change the oil as most of the people use suzuki as a second car. If civic and any other suzuki vehicle are treated in the same way they will perform similarly.

Swift is 1.3L and honda city and corrolla XLi and GLI also 1.3L.It is a hatch back than price is also 2-4 lac less than these.So the point is vitz also a hatch but selling good because toyota.In Pak people think suzuki hai to kharab he hogi. When it was launch I also thought that suzuki to suzuki he hai but good car with best quality

i am not a honda owner. In fact i am driving suzuki although i have not face any kind of problems driving suzuki. Still i am not satisfied because when you look at their competitors varience, cost vs quality analysis they are no where. Why same company have 360 degree difference in simultanoeusly models in different countries. I am angry becuase we are paying the highist price for their models in whole world on the other hand we are enjoying the most worst quality in the world.

well the suzuki cars you are using have a good reputation. The quality of khyber was much better than suzuki cars currently being produced. Same is the case with suzuki FX and early suzuki mehrans - their quality is far better than newer models. Over time quality has dropped a lot. Some features present in earlier models have also gone missing now, for e.g older models of mehran used to have side a/c air blowers while newer models do not.

i seriusly doubt that, ive seen better kept Suzukis then Hondas, No wonder Suzuki workshops are full, and almost non of them entertain you unless u dont have a apointment or you are at the workshop at 9 am Sharp.

Please tell me i mis-understud and ure not comparing a 1.3L Swift with a City and a Corolla.

First of City is a totaly differnt category car

Then Corolla is even a bigger car. Always remember XLI/GLI are ripped out versions of the 1.8L Altis cost around 1.6 Million, and its a way bigger car. Your comparing top of the line Swift with a base model corolla.

Swift may be the best car in the market currently or ever made by Suzuki, its even selling like hot cakes, its a real bueaty, loved all over the world admired by people around the world,

But Paksuzukis stupid policies quality control, Lianas quality Suzukis other cars qualities, And Lianas bad re-sale has created huge mis-trust on Pak Suzuki,

Which is hard to regain, altho Paksuzuki is the market leader in the small (hatch back) car market, but investing a million bucks with zero re-sale is a risk.

Then the launch and marketing wasnt strong enuff, atleast for the first month they shud have had offered ready or 10 days delivery, The directly demanded own (premium) worth 40-50k and no personal bookings.

Suzuki Liana was used as the "reasonably priced car" in Top Gear for some seasons. and about hondas... why do u think the 1.8 model was launched so late? V-tec is supposed to be the most reliable engine in the world but within 3 months of 1.8's launch in Pakistan, 3 engines blew up on motorway, many cars were found with a fuel (or water) pipes that leaked and caused engine malfunction

and we were discussing swifts, not mehrans. mehrans in my oppinion are definitely way over priced with very bad quality. but swift is a different thing

Yes Alto mehran and cultus cannot be compared with swift.

Dude mashAllah sai 2 yrs are about to end now and no sign of pak suzuki leaving pak market :D...plus pak suzuki is now considering to increase their production next year :)...

dude still swift goin strong on quality,reliability and its suspension endurance...According to latest paksuzuki statistics, swift is still going very sound in rural roads :)...Guess who made the differnce
