Failed DIY. Help needed!

I have independently set up the circuit according to the daigram but the results are the same. any ideas now? i want the sensor to do the Opposite of how it is working now

Either change the reed switch to NC (No need to use relay then) or the relay to NC. BUY SPDT (Single pole dual terminal NO and NC )

If the alram system got triggers wen fuel lid is open then ur magnatic reed swithc is normal close type (means its points got short wen magnet is near by) Usually the Reed switches have 3 terminal i.e. common, NC, & NO if u connect wires between points COmmon & NC it will act as normal close while point common & NO tends to act as Normally open so in ur case u required Normal open type reed switch which remains open wen magnet is neearby. Now coming to realy, u have used NO type relay which means contacts are open wen their is no electricity but since u r engaging relay through NC type reed switch so the realy get enrgaised wen Fuel lid is closed whic is the same situation as previous.
If the reed switch being used is not having 3 points then better to go to market & search some reed switch with opposite logic or 3 points so u can have it implemented according to requirments. If u want to proceed with relay setup with same reed switch then u needs to find a normal close type relay or 3point (double throw) relay & use its NC terminal but in that case in normal state it will remain continously energised which can reduce the realy life as well as other issues like leakage current etc. so better to get replace the reed switch.

Sorry I have suggested a wrong relay, but I am happy you got it from your store and didn't purchase it. In fact the relay in the alarm circuit should be an N.C. type my bad. I am confident that you can find it again in your store. And nothing to be worried about the constant power loss from the battery as the security system in your car is already getting a greater chunk of it.

This thing is not a recommended.

To add here you actually require a single pole, single throw N.C. relay. But double throw (with both N.O. and N.C contacts) or a relay with more than one pole can also be put to work in this circuit, however the circuit will only utilize the N.C contact on a single pole.

Either the theif is still a noob OR has some sort of grudge against me as my father has the same car same model BUT with fuel all the way topped up every alternate day & my car having a little more fuel above empty mark

and if this is not enough, if you notice white car (as mine) tend to be more visible at night as compared to a grey car( father's car )

how about sticking a very fine wire mesh on the fuel lid... and connecting it to the out put of a electric spark llighter. the battery powered ones..

then if you have remote alarm system you will have a blinking led? use the leds out put to power this lighter through a relay. it will pulse around a 1000volts in that fine mesh...

very nasty surprise for the thief...

or you can stick thin aluminum foil to your cars cover tarpaulin... the cover sheet.. and connect that foil to the lighter..

I can solve your problem.. Get a parachute bag or thick shopping bag..
Glue its mouth to the opening of your fuel tank.. Push the bag in your tank..
Fill diesel in the bag...
Conceal the opening with neatness
Thief will steal diesel his engine will cease..
Defense and revenge at the same time

After a long time went to cooperative market saddar and bought a magnetic reed switch of different type from the previous one I had. Rear plastic parts were removed for wiring. Also do note that the wiring is done into the wiring loom and with a minimum "nitto tape" where ever possible.

Does any one know of were such Factory Fitted size speakers of some good brand available(eg:sony, pioneer,jvc etc)

The factory fitted clips were of good quality as compared to what is available in market.

Magnetic part secured by sticky rubber tape as well as rivets

Rivets were coated with a blanko(white-o)

Yes sure. btw also installed cctv setup. No hard disk or remote viewing for now but will do by the end of this month.
