Fake Engine Oils!

one of my very close friend have good business of engine oil in badami bagh lahore and he alarmed me for such fake oils almost 10 years before and since then i never buy engine oil from market , he also told me that these filling station also sell fake oils and a very very reputed brand (without using its name) buy bulk oil from local market which is mostelly imported from korea and they pack it in there own manafacturing/packing facility , since then i always request him to send me some cartons of 4 Litter packs,,,,,,,,,,

Yesterday Iqrar-ul-Hassan of Ary News showed in his program that fake engine oils, brake oils and gear oils of every brand are manufactured in Hyderabad and may be in other cities nation wide. These oils totally resemble to the originals in packing.
Beware if these fake oils. What should be done to avoid and locate these fake oils?

++1, this is/could be the most possible way to avoid this risk. Try to search the authorized distributor/dealer from net and get it from there.
@zulfiqar ,, what about if it is get from mega malls , like Hyperstar, metro etc.??

the big cash and carry super markets like metro and hyperstar can be trusted. i say this because the way their quality control works, its great. you can go to sabzi mandi and everyone there knows they have to supply A1 product (that is perfect inside and outside) to them. the caterers buy meat from them citing their quality control. therefore, it is probable that the super markets have good stuff.
