Fake Formula 1 car polish in Pakistani Markets

Hi all,
I own a shiny black honda city and I am a car enthusiast. I polish it myself but today I got deceived by fake Formula 1 car polish. It was of damn poor quality when I rubbed it over my cars body it started to smell like kerosine oil and it took a real hardwork to get it off my car's body. I though to share this with all of you so no one else could be deceived.

The fake one has only FORMULA written on it, whereas the real stuff has FORMULA 1 written

the fake is called quick formula and there is also stp son of a gun which has ditto same packing.

The car and the formula logo are different on the fake Formula 1, if u are true enthusiast, u shouldnt have had been decieved

You're surprised at a cheap "polish" being fake? I hope you know formula 1 is by far the crappiest "polish" you can buy.

Just for the record, its wax not "polish".

plz do not use formula 1 polish use turtle wax atleast and if u do buy and wax buy it for metro etc they have real polishes

still....i dont think its going to be that bad
its inexpensive...and seems good for routine use..but not for a six monthly detailing session!

Yes quick formula is fake. It smells some what like a mortein mosquito spray.

One should be very careful while buying things. This isn't a fake Formula 1 polish but a Quick Formula Polish. Manufacturers in China are doing this sort of things that they get their company registered resembling to the name of any famous brand and they flood the market with it. The original company can not file a case against them as the name is not the same but the customers get deceived.
There are many examples. One of which I recently came to know was regarding Ferrero Rocher Chocolate. The ones that You'd find in Pakistan are mostly Ferraro Rochers made by Zhangjiagang Food. The packing is exactly the same. An ordinary man will not notice the difference of "a" from "e".

So be careful. For everything. Or yo might buy Adidos, PAMA, PolyStation, NIRE or even SONIA!

By this thread i just found out that I'm having fake products to.My interior cleaner and all other polish are copies of Formula1.On the tube it says the distributor is located in Lahore.

Formula 1 products are pretty cheap. I generally use their car wash shampoo. Otherwise wax and other components of turtle/Meguiar/3M.
But the question is are formula 1 products really worth it ?? I mean a big bottle of Formula 1 liquid wax was only 315 rupees but turtle wax platinum was somewhere around 780 rupees which I bought.
Is formula 1 really that bad ???
