Is there anyway to claim the Inspection of Pakwheels?
I was out of city and my family selected a car to purchase. I requested Pakwheels to inspect it for me. Report Says, car's engine was 80% exterior was 50% due to lots of scratches, rear jumps were having issues with bush, overall rating was 5.7.

I purchased a car as major issue was scratches on the body. When i came back and sat in a car, i found;
Car's engine is almost dead, instead of rear bush all 4 jumps and suspension need to get repaired.

Today i rechecked the report and today its showing 4.9 rating instead of 5.7.

I have seen a lot of concerns/issues regarding Pakwheel's inspection team and the result they produce. If you have both of the reports (with changes made to one of them) then this warrants a full investigation. I also believe if the report has been altered then management should be transparent about this and not just try to sweep it under the rug. This is NOT okay.

The PW service doesn't do any compression or other regorous tests, the engine health they mention is just by visible condition, only by checking leakage, smoke, vibration, etc.

If you starts the car and hear too much engine noise when accelerated... then a child can say that engine is not 80%

never trust any pakwheels inspection report.

the issue has been discussed plenty of times, complaints from users about PW inspection are like pee fizz in a urinal it vanishes without trace. Hardly any thing real take place to contain & control crooks, criminals not to misuse PW inspection as their scamming tool.

While looking for a Corolla I came to know that many 3S dealers also carry out inspection in their workshops after checking the vehicle on a lifter. There also charge depending upon the car. You can get any thing checked from a Corolla to a V8.
They then share a report on the car.
For this the seller has to agree obviously.

First of all, @buttsab already commented and asked for contact details so that PW can investigate this complaint.
We at PW's always investigate any complaint reported by our customers. This is customers right and we are here to cater any complaint leads.

Secondly, you have seen your self we never block, delete or ignore any complaint thread. We discuss and resolve the issue as soon as possible. The customer is always compensated if the fault lies with in our service.

So, I humbly ask everyone involved to have patience and wait for the final verdict by the concerned person.

please elaborate further, do you really mean that customer is compensated for the decision made based on report issued by PW?

means if he valued a car 100,000 based on overall score 6/10 issued by PW which actually adjusted to 5/10 later on, so the 10% is compensated by PW?

refund of inspection fee is not an issue. Problem is with the greed driven inspectors.

please focus upon capacity building of inspectors wearing PW logo. Also check upon the people requesting inspections. filter & block the criminal dealers calling upon as bharam baz class / army officer/ lady doctor/ owner of 4th car in house etc etc to which PW inspectors 'MAY' get lured under 'Bharam Bazi' and "MAY" fall to gratification in kind or cash for false reports.

Capacity building is core to such team work.

Again, with utmost respect if you don't have any clear evidence against this allegation pls don't propagate false claim. In past we have always welcomed this discussion but with proper proof.
And I assure you if proven that individual will be dealt with.

Latest update:
PW Karachi office resource contacted Mr. Kashif Raza to explain the discrepancies/misunderstanding in PW inspection report.
The resource even agreed to re inspect the car and to explain in detail every step involved.
The time and meet up place was confirmed by Mr. Kashif Raza to PW resource. According to our SOP, PW inspection team contacted the person before leaving for meet up point. This time PW inspection team was accompanied by our area manager also.
Our team arrived at the meet up spot before time, but Mr. Kashif Raza was a no show and upon contacting he did not receive phone calls or replied to our text messages. Eventually, after waiting for a while the PW inspection team along with area manager left the meet up site.

That said we are still willing to sort this misunderstanding with Mr. Kashif Raza.
