When in a real estate deal a fake Pay Order can get one behind the bars, easily, just don't forget to put the Pay Order No. on the papers/agreements/sale deeds/conveyance deeds etc. and if the Pay Order turns out to be fake simply go to the concerned authority where you had Nikah aka 'sign before' ceremony and tell them in a written application, the transaction will be put on to hold, after verification by the Authority it will be canceled, Simple.
