Be more conscious/do not sell your car against pay order bcz people are trying to cheat over that in these days and I am example infront of everyone but Allah ka shukker hay that I jumped in the verification process and during that time party ran away

1: cheater wont come to you during working hours with PO so that you could not verify properly from bank !
2: they look in hurry and may tell you about any personal problem to make this deal there and then.
3: do not handover your car to them until you got green signal from bank.etc.

Ideally go with the buyer to his bank and get the draft created in front of your eyes! This is straight forward way of ensuring instead of depositing in your bank and then waiting for confirmation

Please elaborate how you got it verified, because as far as i know, PO is the considered to be the safest mode of money transfer (as the amount mentioned on th PO is "held" separately by the bank")

What u can do is to wait for the bucks being credited into ur account and then hand over the car , not b4 that

its better TO ask the buyer take money and come along to the seller bank and deposit the money with u own hand.after transfering the money handover the car.seriously i dont trust PO.

Thanks for the alarm. It's not only bank drafts to be wary about, never take cash payment even, out of bank time. I always ask purchaser to come deposit in my bank, or transfer online to my account, verify the transfer, then hand over the car.

how did the bank manager of the fraudia man even pass the pay order if it was a fake? dont they check agar account mein itna paisa hai bhee ya nahee before the pay order is made? u can go and get the bank manager arrested for fraud!
