DAY 2 - (July 27 , 2015 ) - Continue
- After having some tea and refeshment at the top end of the Lake Lalusar - We start moving to wards Babusar Pass
The Bbau sar top was around 18 km from the Lulusar Lake - the weather was awesome - scenery around was great
Now the road was going up and up - when we were about 3-4 Km from Top - that patch of road become rough as the
road carpeting work was not yet complete , but it was Ok and every type of vehicles were going up very easily
Babusar Pass*or*Babusar Top*(el. 4173 m./13,691*ft.) is a*mountain pass*at the north of the 150*km. (93 miles) long*Kaghan Valley*connecting it via the Thak Nala with*Chilas*on the*Karakoram Highway*(KKH). It is the highest point in the*Kaghan Valleythat can be easily accessed by cars.
So we reach at the top - and it was extermily great - That have previously reached it by very difficult jeep track and now
very easily by a comfortable Coaster
There were many vehicles at top - the weather was quite cold , so have to put out over jackets and were them
all around snow cald peaks were giving great view - clouds and sun playing hide and seek and we have many photos there
There were many vehicles coming from Naran side But the traffic from Chillas side was very thin
THE View towards Chillas was beautiful BUT the road was all decsending like a snake . There were curves almost by 50 meters
and its all going down down by 40 Km
So we start our journey towards the down the hill Chillas - hardly any vehicle come with us majority were going back to Naran
in The breathtaking view and on a very good road - we were at the speed of 20-25 Km/ hours as its all going down and there
were steep curves after very short distance
So almost taking 2 1/2 hours we hit point where this road Meet The Great KKH ( karakrum Highway )
