Fan belt squealing

i drive a 7th gen civic(vti oriel prosmatec trans) lately the fan belt started squealing so I changed the fan belt with a new OEM one but the noise was there so I got it tightened but the noise is stilll there
note that the now it makes the noise only in the morning i.e, when the car is cold i drive approx 70kms a day and its only the first start up that results in squealing that initially increases as i press the pedal and after few seconds vanishes away
i seek expert opinion on the aforementioned problem

remove the belt and clean the pulleys with brake cleaner and a brush - replace belt with new good quality item.

same happens with my charade when original replaced by a local one noise start coming after some time then i replaced with original one a long time no noise then it starts coming again too much i tightened it now noise come only on cold start every time i start my car sound comes and then vanishes after 1 min.
when i took out the local belt i figure out that belt teeth was broken in belt, and when belt reaches engine moving pulley it struck and noise comes.
maybe i need other original one too now again...

the pulleys also wear out - the V belt type pulley should allow the belt to sit slightly proud of the pulley and the belt should be correct dimension - the chinese belts branded as sail, paagal, ding dong are the worst in quality.

Always use correct branded belts and clean the pulleys with carb cleaner and soap thoroughly and check the pulleys themselves for broadening (can happen after 200,000 kms), tighten correctly when new and retighten after 5000 kms to spec.

The timing belt tensioner bearing in my EE-90 2E engine started howling saturday monday am opening up for timing belt & bearing replacement.

over-tightening the belt wears away your bearings in no time .. keep the play as in the manual i guess it is 0.5 inches
