Im hearing a very wierd sound in my axio x 2007.
When ever i go on any khadda or uneven road i hear a TUK sound from left side front tire. What it might b ?

What a difference a simple route change makes to the fuel economy :-#

Route A (new one): 11.52 km/l economy

Route B (old one): 14.79 km/l economy

Economy:
The recent one is of the old route i.e. Route B and the 11.52 km/l one is all Route A

^ I believe it's beacuse of shitty traffic that comes in between the new route, it's also my daily route till golra but i get avg of 14.7+ , at what time do you travel?

Mostly 7-8am but I think avg is bad because on Kahuta Rd every 5-10 sec I've to hard accelerate to overtake and have to brake a lot since its not a one-way rd.

it did involve some driving on Motorway, still pretty good economy after Liqui Moli oil change

@cr33d: Sorry, my Tapatalk notifications were off... I had gotten the genuine back camera from Shoba bazar in Peshawar and I did get the shop's visiting card with me somewhere but can't find it now. You'll have to look around in Sultan ki kooh for this. The max price should be around 5k - if they remove it for you from an untouched trunk lid. That is how it goes with these 'kabuli' parts walas, take the item by their choice and it will be cheap but if you want to do a chanti and get item of your choosing then price goes up.

Shock would be the main suspect. It could also be the steering assembly but it wouldn't be on the left side, more like middle. Another suspect could be the stabilizer link: 48820-47010

@strikerx: I've been using 5W-30 Shell HX7, thinking about 5W-40 for summer. Oh and mileage is close to 14 in local and local being Islamabad Highway daily, even with the rush due to the Faizabad Interchange narrowing.

I am getting 15.7 km/l avg with in the city as per odo meter and some manual calculations as well, Got my tank filled from PSO saddar.
The driving conditions were pretty horrid, i daily go all the way from bahria to isb ( golra route ), alot of signals and pretty heavy traffic, i waste daily like 20 mins on signals. and the avg is with AC.

@StrikerX: I've been using 5W-30 Shell HX7, thinking about 5W-40 for summer. Oh and mileage is close to 14 in local and local being Islamabad Highway daily, even with the rush due to the Faizabad Interchange narrowing.

Go for it, increase your drain interval to 7-10k km as well. There are two choices in the market :

• Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40
• Liqui Moly 5W-40 Synthoil

A question to my fellow Axio owners. Sorry if i am posting wrong somehow, new here.

My Axio 2007 has a problem, didn't face it when it was new, when i stop at a medium to steep hill with the Handbrake disengaged & car in "D" the car tends to roll back after lifting my foot off the brake to press the throttle. So i have to manipulate with the handbrake to move without rolling back a little. So went to Toyota dealership, talked to some people there, their reply "no, no. nothing of the sort exists in any car. rolling back happens". but here is the thing
1. never happened when it was new
2. my Vitz 2009 (bought along with Axio) doesnt roll back even an inch, even if its a steep hill.
I did test them both on the ramp of my house. Axio rolls back, Vitz doesn't.
I am not saying I am an expert. I might be wrong here. So if anybody can kindly explain if they have/haven't faced the same. so i can be at peace. Thank you in advance.

Its normal, in D the car has some power with which it moves forward so when on a hill that is usually enough for the car to not move back but on a steep slope, it can roll back.
