I wanted to inquire about the Toyota Corolla Axio which was imported between 2011-13, the 2007 model. I had the following questions in mind regarding the car.

1. Does it have good resale value?
2. Does it sell quickly?
3. Is it a market car?
4. Are spare parts easily available?
5. Is the drive as same as the Premio or is it a little below par?
6. Does it have good fuel economy? How is its fuel economy in the city as well as on the highway?
7. Which version is better in terms of resale and fuel economy, the 1.5L or the 1.8L?
8. Do both versions have the same resale rate and value?
9. Does its navigation unit work in Pakistan?
10. Is it possible to change the navigation unit to English from Japanese?
11. Does the car handle well on high speeds and is it comfortable for long journeys?
12. Is the engine responsive?
13. Does it come with cruise-control?
14. How effective is the air-conditioner?
15. Is the 1.5L version under-powered in any way?

Most of them are NO, 2013 model is expensive hence it doesn't have a nice resale, the 2007 model was selling like hotcakes when the duty structure was 5 year old because of its price and features it had to offer.
The mileage is pretty good, 14-15km/l in city with ac and 18+ on highway. Spares are easily available since it's a corolla. Been using 1.5 and it isn't underpowered by any means.

@strikerx , im using leppon oil and air filter, i think air filter ain't that good, cost me around 600rs, went to 3s dealership and they said the OEM airfilter will cost me 2500 rs or so. What are my options here, should i get the Airfilter from a shop which sells genuine Toyota spares or get a 3rd party filter.

2. No idea, Premio is a class above Corolla so it should have better drive.
3. Yes, 13-15km/l in-city and 16-18km/l long.

I've been using the OEM filter and change it after 15-20k km. Don't use leppon air/oil filter, especially oil filter. Guard's oil filter is better. I've really always bought from the dealerships so I can't really say, @mashriqain buys from non-3S shop so he can guide you better.

Got it done on this weekend, they have increased labour charges for 80k, i.e. Rs 7050, previously it was 5500. It includes
a. Replacement of all lubricants, i.e. engine, transmission & brake oil
b. Servicing of brakes
c. Tuning / Throttle body cleaning
d. Wheel alignment / balance
e. Computer check
f. Air / AC filter replacement / cleaning (conditional)

The toyota goons charged me 7900 for the belt at first, i told them shouldn't it be 5000 as someone i know got it changed for 5000 but they nullified it and said prices have increased, i was pretty much in a shock for the whole time, short story at the the time of bill payment i asked them to check the prices again as 2900 increment in a price was just too much to handle. On checking, it came out they added the wrong part number of belt and charged me accordingly, hence they corrected the price and gave me a new bill. @strikerx

Other things i got were.
Air Filter OEM Rs 2400
Oil FIlter OEM non-3S Rs400
Liqui Moly 5w40 - Rs 4860 ( the shop keeper told me to use it for 20K and then change it, i was like noted )

Hello friends
I have a corolla axio NZE144 2007 4WD and there is some humming sound coming from the rear. Have changed the wheel barring hub for both sides, changed diff oil but can still hear the sound. The sound is not very sharp but can only be heard if you clearly listen while driving and when windows are up. Appreciate if you can guide me on what the sound could be. Many thanks.

One more thing, does the 4wd need any greasing at all?

Changed Cvt Oil.
Poured Cvt synthetic Silver Can Packing in it.

Alhamdulillah drive is smooth as silk now.
Really enjoying it.
Would recommend all axio owners to change their cvt oil before 40k on odo though i changed at 50 k :p.

Will change oil in Jan/Feb, still 12k km to go. Tbh I am just waiting for winters

p.s they'll most probably open the oil pan and I'll need to get the seal replaced as well.
