FAW V2 Owner's Review

I have visited 3s dealer today. car is ok but interior is not appealing. no usb with CD player, even we can't open trunk from inside. durability of the car is a question mark as it is assembled in China. the only thing which appealed the most r tires. I have alto. headlights and tail light can e purchased in Rs.1,000/- bumper is also very cheap in price. whereas cost of V2 light is Rs.8,000/-. I think that swift is a better option. Please advise what to do....

Omg. You are trying to compare crap alto with v2. Come on man down to earth . Its so far far better than suzuki n jdm craps.

By the way v2 having usb option.
Just only interior much not impressive otherwise car is perfect.
N don't try to compare with swift as well. It is also expensive 3 lakh.

U should compare v2 with cultus and wagon r as these r in similar price bracket.. i also had alto before buying v2, it never gave me above 10km/liter, while my v2 is giving me average of 13 with ac.. so u should also keep in mind other factors as well other than cheap spare parts..

V2 being 1298cc is under the price bracket of 1000cc. Whn I'd to decide, i visited Suzuki showroom to check WagonR. I was kinda surprised at side view mirrors as there was no option for their adjustment other than touching/pushing the mirror directly. Sitting on driver seat n adjusting mirror of other side manually.....aah! When I questioned this from Suzuki salesman his reply was "sir Suzuki se aap aur kia expect krte hain, shukar krein sheeshay lagay huay hain"........n I just ran away.

Either you drive a luxury car or think of cheap spare parts and low maintaince car.

V2 is a 1300cc car which comes with euro 4 efi engine, which means a maintaince free car. Just buy n drive. All you need to do is change the oil on 1000, and then after every 5000. Swift is the only car that is competing with it at this point in time but V2 still has more to offer. As far as sound system is concerned comes at a cheaper price than 4 wheels of Wagon R. Choice is yours, I'd suggest buy luxury drive luxury. But please don't compare it with alto again. Alto is a 1000cc with not much offerings where as V2 is a fully loaded car.

If u are concerned about reliability then ask fmkiani or devil unleashed they have driven this car a gr8 deal and devil unleashed (don't drive this car like mummy daddy even posted that he did full 180) there may be other owners as well who are using this vehicle for long but as for my knowledge they have driven it the most

Swift will cost you 14 lakhs for the manual, it has very high fuel consumption like 9-10 kmpl. So for 3 lakhs more you will only get a better interior. I would recommend either go for a v2 or buy a honda city if you can stretch the budget a little.

I got max 15.33 with ac at motorway. Speed 120kml. On board people 2.
But company claim 6.1liter/100km

even 15.33 is not bad either , hope it goes more better, keep riding safely

I got 16.3 km/l GT road fsd to lahore with 4 person. 80 % long and 20% city drive give me 15.4km/ l. Normal avg is 15 km/l. My odo is 8723. It wil be increase After 10000 service and oil change. As my friend is getting 18.2km/l by mixing 70% petrol and 30% HOBC and Odo is almost 17000

Brother its true info, parts are available from 3S, noise is resolved, by installing door rubber, if you dont want to use door rubber that wind crossing noise in not irritating. if you take a test drive you can observe. for further info plz join " Proud owners of V2" group on face book.
