Yes I have also noticed the same, the Doors seems to be having Open/Close sound very different from Any other Car available in Pakistan, to me they sound like closing doors of a Truck,,,, Seriously.......... may be they are Heavier than the Normal doors and as they claim that the Doors are equipped with Door Beams which most of the Locally manufactured cars don't have. So thats seems a Positive thing to me.... Hope it will prove to be Positive too........

Dear Aero Engg, your Answer lies in this Old Post I Think,

Bro please skim through the previous pages, you'll see a breakdown of costs. Registration in Islamabad cost me about 28000. Don't listen to anyone, everyone will give their two cents but when you actually get to the cashier's counter at registration, they won't charge you the advance tax because this is an imported vehicle. Freight charges are negotiable. Isb dealership quotes a freight charge of 20000 but people get it reduced. Good luck and hope all goes well with your purchase. Welcome to the V2 family.

Is there any ON on the car nowadays? Also did new owners had to pay additional Rs. 25000 delivery charges?

Bro as per my knowledge, Booking time is 30-40 days, if you buy the Current available Stock with the Dealer then they will definitely charge something Own Payment from you and in that case they will Deliver you the Car Immediately, Otherwise if you book the Vehicle you dont need to Pay anything like OWN, as far as concerned with Frieght charges mostly charge 15000 to 22000 depends upon city to city, generally will increase as you are away from Karachi

okay i have few issues
1: front suspension of my car making weird sounds on bumps
2: engine is consuming too much oil (no leaks i checked floor few times)
3: fuel consumption isnt good (highway 11 without ac rpm @ 2800-3200)

i am concerd about engine oil issue and fuel consumption.as for front suspension faw apollo are going to do something about it.so how do i fix issue 2 and 3

Well i also drive around same rpm but my v2 did 478km in 30 litres on my latest refill, i.e 16km/l, on busy lahore roads, ac was occasionly on, there must be some problem with urs, when u last changed or cleaned the air filter??

Whats yr experience of owning a v2 here in khi where we almost never see the car on roads? W.r.t parts, service etc?

car is good does good on highways goes to 140 effortlessly but i have some issues like front suspension is faulty , i dont getgood fuel avg 11 on highways is not good,cant say about parts havnt changed any yet! and yes there are some v2 in khi i even saw one in mir pur khas yesterday

Today I visited FAW showroom to analyze the car. Well it was well beyond what I was expecting from general people views.

Its exterior paint finish ... I have never seen in a local car.

About the interior quality ... the problem is just the colour, its colour is like faded plastic .... thats all ... otherwise quality is equivalent to any local car.

Seats quality are better that current Honda City.

Keeping in mind the price and features its offering there is no match for this car.

btw I also went to Suzuki showroom to evaluate Wagon-R as an option but after analyzing at V2, I did not bother even to sit in it.

1. there is no company fitted door rubber which causes the noise. Although this is not a problem but irritate the customer.
2. Poor Media campaign/marketing strategies which is the backbone to promote the product. Even small products like toothpaste, razer etc doing full time marketing but FAW not bothering.
3. Minor issues which customers are complaining like break squeaking, cabin noise due to missing of door foam etc should be fixed in PDI phase before delivery.
4. Not mandatory but its better to improve interior.
5. Sustainability of company is still a question? Try to gain trust of customer in this regard.

Please do pardone my ignorance if any.
