Aoa, Alhamdulillah I have received my booked locally assembled V2. I have driven it around 150 kms so far and until now I haven't found any Significant noise, no diesel etc smell coming in from outside, no suspension squeaks etc nothing disturbing has been observed. In this price tag, it has great brakes, superb ac cooling(inside circulation on), great suspension. Due to rubber installation on doors and inside bonut (by company) no noise issue or smell issue has been observed. So far I have driven it around 80 km/hr and everything has been very smooth. Its drive is better than and comparable to city and vitz. Further, I will inform if I find something significant for sharing.
I also want to share that before v2 I had gli 2010 which I drove over 40000 kms. Earlier I also used vitz 2005 and city 2006.
I think if one cannot afford new gli or city then he shd go for v2.

Yes thanks... yes initially I chose silver but someone in showroom told me about this color so I requested them to change. They accepted as it was few days after booking. Yes this one is first in faw lyallpur motors

Fawad Zahoor Bhai, Bohat Mubarik Ho ap ko, its really a Nice Color, aur ap ke naam mein bhi FAW aata hai
Looks wise V2 is a very beautiful car. Happy to see your good experience about car, I am also an owner of Imported version V2. To keep your Car free of smell and dust I would advise you to always run your car AC on Re-circulation which keeps Fresh Air Damper close and avoid Dust and smell ingress. Dust can badly damage AC cooling on later stage. Still If you feel any Smell ingress issue at High speed then its Best to Put a Foam at front of AC outdoor Duct, its located right below Windshield Tray and you can access it with your hand by opening the Bonnet. I am going to share some pics here try it and share your experience.

Not a corolla thread, but 1700km so far, First free service complete, there was ticking noise from the dashboard, could be heard when AC is off and no radio. Got it sorted yesterday from the Dealership under warranty. No noise any more. The head-unit installed in Xli is beyond pathetic very very bad radio reception.

Apart from that a pleasure drive. Going smooth so far, avg is around 10 full ac and my driving style. have taken it till 140Km/hr and that was in karachi jinnah avenue. so could not take it any further.

Asalam o Alaikum.
Hope everyone is doing well. I do not know if this is the appropriate place to post this, but pardon if I digress since this is biggest thread related to faw v2
I am interested in purchasing a V2, and if any of the brothers here have one up for sale or know anyone who is interested in selling please inform me. I am based in Islamabad so brothers from here or Rawalpindi can help out. Additionally I am getting the car leased through meezan car ijarah.
