So I think that the Message from Alhaj FAW is Loud and Clear, they are committed at customer Focus and they are committed for success of this Chinese Brand in Pakistan, n I hope FAW china is also committed to build their brand in Pakistan in the same way, instead of getting short term profit they should focus on long term business in Pakistan.

I also have a liana i got it work through suzuki for head gaskit issue they charged 30k for all of the parts saying humne sara kaam kia ha including some minor work whic included rubber changings around engine
again my liana got a issue of head gaskit got it replaced with local mechanic for 3k including parts & labour.

It's not equipment failure. It's what causes it, which in this case is likely a bad refrigerant charging process. Our ppl think they know better than the designer and skip important steps.

Depends upon dealership u r going to as every other dealer uses a different brand, m using the recommemded viscosity i.e 15w40, faw momemtum lahore uses mobil 15w40

15w-40 is very thick oil for a toyota 2szfe engine since it is replica of toyota 2szfe use same oil toyota sells for 2szfe you cam even use 5w-30 in that engine

Salaam,

I using v2 since 9 months drove around 6000km but fuel avg is 10km on highway its around 12-13 max. how i can improve that... always checking tyre pressure, change gear before 3rpm... driving carefully, no rash driving, but fuel efficiency is not improving...
mechanics says . car is in a great position.. re setting computer setting many times...not results founds
any suggestions...

What speeds do u drive on? If you drive on 130 or higher, your economy is normal. V2 gives 17 when driven at 100kph with ac. The higher you go, the lower the fuel economy.

Also i need to know 1st free service as per warranty book is due on 1000km or 30 days which ever comes first, unfortunately i am only able to drive 400km for the first 25 days, should i wait for 1000 km completion or go for service after 30 days, a bit confused. Will appreciate help from experienced members

You should go for oil change regardless of the KMs, if you completed the time duration you qualify for free inspection and oil change is also due after time, even if you dont drive your car at all, you should change lube oil with respect to time, means which ever comes first. And there is also Gear Oil change on first inspection, take a good Gear Oil and Lube with you or take advise from dealership for the best grade oil.

I am yet to use any other viscosity so cant really compare with another one, just following the manufacturer recommended oil although there is increasing trend of using thinner synthetic oils recently.. temp ranges mentioned for this viscosity are ok for our weather, so happy with it..

If u r not having any problem with shifting of gears then dont change gear oil, i did not change oil at 1000kms and gear is super smooth, will change it now at 40k kms, toyota also recommends gear oil change at 40k, i know 2 persons who change oil at 1000 from faw sajjad motors lahore and gears became hard, may b some wrong oil dealership used...
