Yeh bhi theek baat hai, koi problem to nahi hota, aksar logon ko gear oil change kerwanay ke baad problems aana shuru ho jaati hai specially uss waqt jab oil 2 number dal diya ho ya oil loading pump dirty ho to bhi kachra ander jaa sakta hai, but still as per officialy maintenance schedule shared by Alhaj FAW gear oil should be replaced in first month. So mere khayal se khuda na khawasta agar gearbox mein koi masla aa jata hai to warranty claim kernay kay liye zururi hai ke aap ne company advised maintenance schedule follow kiya ho.

Brand is not important but this is more important you buy from a Trust able Oil dealer in your city and refill the oil with clean gadgets, for example; Follow following Safety Precautions

1- For Engine oil completely Drain the oil for 15 minutes, install new and genuine oil filter, clean the drain plug before installation and refill the new oil in your presence with a clean Funnel.
2-For gear oil, Fill gear oil with a clean and pre flushed oil pump.

Myself used Havoline Gear Oil SAE-80W-90 API GL-4 (two litres)
and Shell HX5 10W-40 (4 litres)
Gear shifting is smooth Masha Allah up till now.
Baqi log Zic, Toyota Gear Oil and Liqui moli gear oil bhi use kerwa rahay hain. koi issue nahi aata. Engine oil ke liye log Total, Shell, liquimoli wagera use ker rahay hain.
Engine oil Synthetic wala ziada behter hota hai magar wo thora expensive hota hai jitna mehnga utna acha

The actual issue here in paki is availability of fake oils in market including petrol pumps. A legit pack of oil gives them a profit of 150-200 per pack whereas a fake one gives over 1k a dabba. So most prefer to keep fake oils at the expense of our car engines. It's always best to buy from trusted and reputable dealers, hyperstar, Metro. I have seen engine overhauls under 60-70k kms run engines of newer cars just because of fake oil use and even seen 180k km+ driven mehran carburated with still 100% sealed OK engine just because of use of Original oil

No issue of time mostly go for service after 1000

Initially I used Mobil 15W40 from FAW momentum, but for last two oil changes using Total 10W40.

I sometimes had sharp metallic sound from engine at cold startup, which is completely gone after shifting to Total 10W40. Pick is better and engine sound reduced.

That sharp metallic sound (hammering sort of) is basically tappets crying for oil thick oil takes longer to reach top end of engine

Man im seeing a lot of V2s compare to 2,3 months back. Im interested in this car.can any1 tell me that has it given any problems to owners apart from wind noise and such minor issues??

Yes after local assembling started sales have increased, i bought mine in jan-16, driven for 42k kms till now, yet to face any issue other than wind noise and some kharr kharr from trunk, go for it!!!

My V2 is April '15 model. 41k kms driven. Till now, there has not been any major issues. The noise cancellation is not very good, but I am planning to make some fixes for it myself, apart from the OEM rubbers. Apart from this, the suspension, engine, transmission etc is all great. I just love the way it accelerates when I push that pedal.

Alhamdulillah, i am going to buy FAW V2 in brownish red color.

Keeping in mind the price ratio of Sirius S80 and V2 in China and Pakistan, it looks like this will be introduced around 1.8-2.0 million PKR. I think it would be awesome in this price with these features.

I met one of FAW's regional managers who had come to visit FAW lyallpur once while I was there for service, he said that the recently launched A50 might be launched in Pakistan. Fingers crossed.

Vitara is out of competition AFAIK! Honda's BR-V would be the one facing a bit of competition! At least there will be options for everyone in the market,
Kia is coming too, Renault's entrance is long due, At last something is Happening.

Bhai Jaan Small noise Issues ke Ilaawa koi khaas masla nahi aata V2 mein, its a Love to Drive Car, Built Quality aisay hai jaisay ke Honda ki motorcycles Honda CD Dream or Pridor aur Pick 125 Jaisi hai... Log iss ko Chinese Bikes like Unique, Super Power, United wagera se Relate ker rahay hain magar aisa kuch nahi hai, its a Proper Car, Baqaidaa gari hai.... Pick and Road Grip is Awesome, Seats are as Comfort as a sedan and Steering is soft so handling is excellent, AC is chilling, only people faces minor noised from doors, or plastic components. I am driving it since a year and Alhamdullillah Satisfied...

Bhai 18 lac ki Sirius ne kya kr lia market me jo ye new suv kregi FAW ki? In my opinion FAW can only compete in small car market, trucks and carriers (including xpv). For bigger cars, no one can beat strong presence of Toyota and Honda. Even Nissan sunny, Lancer, Liana, Ciaz failed to deter an inch of sales of bigger cars of these brands. So FAW needs to be very cautious in introducing anything in competition of them. I must say that Honda BRV is just love. Its something extraordinary. Its almost impossible to beat its supremacy with Honda's brand name in the price bracket it has.

Bhai, If they can bring the same in 1.8million or even 1.9 million it will be a proper SUV and not an MPV like BR-V. It will challenge the market. V2 is growing in competition and it sits on a sweet sweet price bracket.

It used to be available on demand readily specially white color. Now the booking time is 45 to 60 days.

danish bhai - naam bikta hai - aap ne bhi xki khareedi hai toyota k name per - aap bhi shayed 1.8m me FAW nahi letay - just a thought. and yes yes yes FAW V2 is excellent thing in the price.
