Has V2 still that rattling sound. Any new buyers?

dont know about new pak assembled but the Chinese import one have quite alot in just 17k run now

This Rattling sound comes from plastic bush inside steering Rack, picture shown below, its not a big problem, steering movement ko Soft rakhnay kay liye Chinese nay shayad ye halka bush use kiya hai aur iss se EPS motor pe load bhi kam lagta hai. But many of the V2 users who faced this issue as nuisance noise they got free change of the Bush from dealership with thicker bush. Its nothing to worry for all those V2 users who have studied little about Steering Rack drawing on google, not much big issue in my view. I also got it replaced recently from FAW Rahimyarkan Motors and now there is no such rattling noise on broken roads.

Great also that i have quite strange noise from trunk area kind of tak tak and from place where dashboard is attached to center console also. Got the door rubber installed from faw islamabad motors for free but the wind noise issue is still there in specially both back doors thats quite irritating among all otherwise loving its comfort and price factor from day one

I am going to place an order tomorrow IA. I just wanted a last minute confirmation. If a brand new car has that kat kat and khar khar then I don't find any reason to spend more than a million on such a car.

There wont be any such interior sounds initially, not in my case atleast, just trunk lock and trunk tray were making some noise which i got fixed on ist oil change.. yesterday drove a swift 2015 driven 48k kms, not that much difference in khar khar sounds in comparison to my v2 which is driven 44k kms till now..

HKamil bhai, many people reported minor Cheen Chaan sounds and nothing big things, and still most of V2 users are satisfied.... definitely if he gets a features and Power loaded Car in a very nice price tag without long waiting time..., 1 million car is definitely not 100% sound Proof, you know all JDMs which are second hand but still expensive than a New V2 even they are not 100% sound proof on Pakistani roads. The Good thing about V2 is you will get a 3 Years real time warranty which lacks in any Used car. Price bracket wise phir Wagon R hi reh jati hai V2 ke comparison mein aur us ki Body city use kay liye to theek hai but not meant for highway drive. Overall V2 is a Solid Built car, it proved its strength in minor and major (Godforbid) accidents here in Paksitan as well, and Safety Rating of V2 is much higher than its Rivals in Pakistan, now these khar khar sounds are just from plastic components so I think one can ignore them if he has checked this car structure and Engine in detail. Keep Confidence on the V2 which can keep your Decision intact.

sound are not to many but these small sounds quite irritates you sometime and you have to raise the audio sound to cater these my first sounds were from steering column and then from back trunk which is not solved till yet and one more the wind noise kind of shir shir from both back doors even after door rubbers installed. these sounds starts to come after 7k driven and are almost constant or somewhat increased but the price of V2 is quite heavy upon these issue i only encountered 1 main issue and it was AC condenser which was replaced under warranty but yes you have to compromise on quality as its a Chinese entry level product but the price tag of 10.7million with all these feature made me buy this car and i didnt regret till even now so go for it as we dont have much options available and you will quite like it.

Yes, Mr Naizi is right, most of FAW V2 have similar Feeling about the car, most of the users are happy inspite of the little issues they have faced, just because they have got Value for money, and not a second option in this price tag right now in Pakistan... thats why V2 selling rate is lower than Buying rate, people buy it for keeping... laikin kuch aisay Lucky Users bhi hain V2 kay jin ko abhi tak koi issue nahi face kerna pada, otherwise mostly issues Warranty mein resolve ker diye jatay hain....

So, got 13.93 km/l in last refill in Lahore city, the 15 16 is from motorway.

I want to know that which engine oil and gear oil available at faw dealership.

Different at different dealerships. FAW Lyallpur uses Shell HX7 5w30, Momentum and Sajjad Motors use Mobil1 15w40 and FAW Islamabad uses Zic 10w40. I have heard that Rawalpindi dealership uses Toyota Taglone 5w50 engine oil.

As for gear oil, Toyota GL4 75w90 is used universally in all dealerships as per my knowledge.

Umair ali Thanks for your information. Today I done my first service from Faw Lyallpur. He use HX7 5w40 engine oil and Toyota GL4 75W90 gear oil. Good service competent and corporate staff and owner.

Buy a car according to your needs/requirements.
V2 is not bad for abbottabad considering the near v2 dealership is only 30-40 away.
But don’t let any desi mechanic mess with your car or it will be bad.

sure please go ahead & buy if it suits your requirement & fit into your budget. V2 is good like any brand new car, maintain it at correct intervals and it will serve for minium 5 years trouble free.
