So, today I took my car on a relative long ride and also went through some rough road patches. Total distance traveled was around 25-30 km.
As compared to Old Cultus, Wagon R and Mehran which all I have personally driven, the only possible comparison is with Wagon R.
Acceleration and Speed is good. More or less same as that of Wagon R but it does not matter to me as I am a family driver.. Suspension is much much better than Wagon R. It feels solid and goes over mild obstacles with ease. Wagon R has good suspension too, but it tends to shake a bit. So Suspension wise, FAW is better.
Air conditioning is great. But Wagon R does that equally well so both cars run AC in these hot summers exceptionally well with no signs of overheating.
The interior design of FAW is better than Wagon R. Much better cluster, center console and automated windows. Plus all the additional features that comes along.
Since I own both cars, my verdict obviously goes to FAW due to its better external looks, automated windows and relatively less interior plastic. But if you plan to buy Wagon R, it is an equally good car. It has great AC, acceleration and interior space.Speed should not matter as these cars are not meant to race. But one thing I hate about wagon R is CLEANING. Cleaning this car is Extremely extremely difficult. Because its high, i need to stand on stool to properly clean and polish its roof. Second, its interior has so so much plastic that an entire bottle of Interior detail spray finishes on cleaning it. These are the only two concerns for me.
