I did not find people having V2 have complained about having bundles of problems with the V2 except for the brake squeaking sound which I would not consider as a serious problem if it is being resolved. Would like to read it if you can refer to any such bundles.

As a user, dual airbag is very important to me, whether I am driving at 170km/h or at 70km/h. It may not always me my fault. Maybe a Swift owner might hit some V2 owner (ALLAH na karay) at 170km/h and the damage would be same. Zindagi aur Maut ALLAH ke haath mein magar Safety/Prevention is always better that cure.

I have been following this forum/Blog since the very begining and I have not seen any User/Owner of the V2 complaining about any serious problem being faced by them.

I think you should be comparing apple with an apple. Either you compare it with Wagon-R (Price-wise with all the specs and features) or yoshould compare it with Swift (Again price-wise and them Features and performance). You should have also provided the mileage of your Swift which is 1.3l with the fuel average/mileage of V2 and not with Wagon-R which is 1.0l.

There must be Pros and Cons with every single car being made all over the world.... But I would say that in Pakistan V2 is the best package against the money I have spent. I am using V2 for almost 1 year and I have not faced a single problem yet. The only money I have spent on my V2 is on Oil change/Filters and Fuel, nothing else ALHAMDOLILLAH. It is performing brilliantly up till now.

I am satisfied with my V2 but how did you fix your squeaky brake sound? I have taken my v2 to mechanic for 2 time now itd still coming..

I am satisfied with my V2 but how did you fix your squeaky brake sound? I have taken my v2 to mechanic for 2 time now itd still coming..

Its just a dust issue. I had the same problem on 300km but they just put greaz on my break pads and clean dust which is the acutal cause. Dont worry you will get this fix after 1000 automatically. Guys i am telling you Faw v2 price will be high pretty soon. Dont wait, Just buy it.

Has any one installed rubber on doors to cater that cheap sound on closing of doors and what was result... m going to buy next month but dealership is asking for one month booking time for black color..

I can see that my listing the issues with FAW is being cited as it being a faulty car as compared to the offerings by suzuki, well to say the least would be that due to this post being about FAW I have only shared my experience about it. I have driven brand new taken out of the showroom wagor R and swift and they had even more issues, it looked like they perform the PDI after the car has done the initial running.
From rear brakes completely out of adjustment to the level that they are not even performing their task, to engine not idling properly, ac compressor going khattak everytime it engages, the doors going dhuz to the door handle giving a feel like its a cheap washroom knob, suzuki is only worse (comparatively) not better then the FAW when it comes to built quality.

I still am at mechanic. I told him to put grease on he says the brakes would stop working for obvious reasons. Someone please help, how to remove this squeaky voice its getting in nerves! The car is so smooth! But this voice is killing its luxury.

BTW guys who are saying weird stuff about this car, please don't. The car is pure love! 160 within 25 seconds!

Just change the brake pads man, my father still has cultus 2003 and when it starts squeezing we just simply change the brake pads, you can give it a try

2. Gear changing, especially into first and reverse is extremely uncomfortable. But this should get better as the gears loosen up with time.
3. The car's EPS system I presume is what makes this click noise whenever I increase acceleration drastically or change a gear or turn the a/c on. What is this click sound and is it normal?
4. The SRS airbag light has turned red since day 2. Is this issue even fixable in Pakistan or can I expect the mechanics at FAW to simply tamper with it and say its been fixed?

Apart from these flaws, and trust me I had more with other cars in the past, this car is an absolute gem to drive. So far I've filled the tank twice up to Rs.2000 and gotten 160km out of it. Its a pocket rocket with extremely good components that make its drive almost unmatchable to Cultus, and the suspension is leaps beyond the Swift.

Your SRS light should not be red, u should have it checked immediately. This is as per the cars manual.

I second the part about air noise at high speeds. I was expecting better cabin isolation. I drove from Isb to Lahore last night and it was a comfortable experience otherwise. Kept it mostly under 100 kmh, extracted about 17.5 to the liter with constant climate control (not AC) which can be improved with better RPM maintenance and after the first oil change. It met acceleration expectations and I was pleasantly surprised how it tackled uphill inclines, negotiated the challenging salt range very well. Fog lights and adjustable headlights provided great visibility. Brake didn't squeak even once during the drive and ABS really came in handy.

Ask him to do brake service. If he dont apply grease on breakes pads then change that service station. I went to punjab motors (S3 dealer) Lahore near Bahria town. He put grease on break pads and used Raigmaar (urdu). He open all 4 wheels and start my car and told me to push race paddle and he used raigmaar on my break disk or plate. Inshort he did break service and told me it was dust issue. The suqeezing noise is just vanished. Update me if u need more help...

160KM in 2000Rs of fuel ? What ? Thats like ... 26Litres for 160km o.O

For the brake grease thing being discussed, it is applied behind the brake pad not btw it and the disc, anyone who does that deserves to be run over by the same car ................ plus the grease that can withstand such temp is only silicon grease and none else, its not easily avl at all places.
