FED & Taxes Increase after mini budget

I would like to take expert’s opinion on prices increase after minibudget, I booked Suzuki WagonR VXL in November 2021 on full payment, the amount I paid was 1,610,000/- (car price at time of booking) and tentative delivery date is first week of march 2022. After two days of booking company increased prices (around 2.4 lacs) and now Sales tax and FED increased. Today I received call from dealer and they are asking to pay 123,000/-
I have two question

1. Am I bound to pay increased price due to taxes and duties, while I booked car on full payment? my understanding is if I paid full amount, it mean I also paid taxes and duties at that time.
2. If, I am bound to pay FED and Taxes increase then should taxes calculated actual amount of booking (1,610,000) instead of recent price, how should I calculate tax difference exactly?

walkin to you dealership and request them to provide calculation for demand of 123000 lump sum amount, against your full payment for booked vehicle.

FYI any taxes slapped by the Govt has to be paid by the end user. Buyer can claim such payments of taxes & fed in the annual tax return., only if the invoice carry the name & cnic no.

Invoice is generated at the time of delivery.
customer is bound to pay for any increase in Govt taxes at the time of delivery/invoice.
Pak Suzuki lock their own prices at the time of booking not the govt taxes.
you can only adjust Income Tax/Withholding tax against your salary/business tax.
Sales Tax/FED can not be claimed by Individual.

I also paid 123k for wagonr vxl, my booking was on 10 oct 21 and delivery date is 14 feb 22.
The logic given by suzuki canal motors faisalabad to me was that additional 123k of FED+GST will be charged as per new price of wagonr vxl not as per the booking price. But they ensure me at the time of delivery they will provide me with the complete calculations in invoice.
I had no option other then to pay because i also didn’t find any formula which logically convinced me.

Share your PBO section, containing breakup of vehicle cost, and I can provide you the breakup of 123K.

In Final Invoice it will be given with complete details and yes you are bound to pay

btw if you did full payment .. and delivery of car is not done within 60 days.... check with paksuzki abt Kibor at 2% since they failed to deliver car within 60 days after final payment. by law you should receive that amount via cheque also

You can claim only WHT/Advance Income Tax but not FED. A lot easy if you are business man and you adjust against your yearly income tax or if you are employed ask your employer to adjust fromTax deduction, but again only Advance Tax not FED. If you don't fall in any of above category then claiming from FBR this tax would be very tedious and time consuming job, and high posiblity you will face audit of your accounts
