The Iveco VM90T has been used in Pakistan as a "dodge" somewhere between the Jeep size (1/4 Ton) and the Cargo size (2 1/2 Ton), and as an ambulance (using the same ambulance body as a Unimog).
It's a beautiful looking vehicle, with decent offroad capabilities.
Let me enumerate some of its khusoosiyaat, which I've personally seen.
Single Cabin, soft top, large pickup tub (Ambulance versions can be hard and soft top, both).
18 inch rim size, I think (the tyre size is 245 / 255)
4 forward gears (if I remember correctly), 4wd, manual diff lock.
2.5 L normally aspirated Fiat diesel engine.
Great offroader in sand (have used it personally). NOT so great on the road.
With the stock engine, is somewhat prone to overheating, requiring radiator modifications to be entirely reliable.
Fiberglass front hood, and front quarterpanels...which are difficult to repair.
Simple, uncomplicated dashboard layout.
Good ride height / clearance, even when stock.
Unique appearance...is very different from FJs / Jeeps / Unimogs.
Best of luck, in arriving at a decision!
