I agree that a hilux ruins the entire purpose of a sports car but a country like this needs something like this, i remember hearing on the news about a business man who got abducted in karachi (he was on an S class)

1. Nowhere did I abuse Pakistan in my posts in this thread.

2. My comments were related to the car and the car's circumstances.

3. The reason I hang out on this website is because I love Pakistan.

4. I know quite a lot about the great roads there.

5. My comments regarding the Ferrari here would equally apply to the other great cars you mention too.

6. Your request is unnecessary because I repeat: I did NOT say anything abusive about Pakistan here.

Colour, like many other things in human nature is a matter of choice, I personally would prefer a colour like such, it seems like a very quiet colour from the pictures, not an "in your face" one like a red or yellow one.. but like I said, a matter of opinion.

Secondly, he and (his protocol) have every entitlement to use the road like everyone else, the only thing I don't agree with is them creating a problem for other users by either not letting them pass OR by giving them evil looks (which is quite unnecessary).

And lastly, by gods grace there MANY rich people in Pakistan or Pakistanis living abroad with interest's in Pakistan, many of them driving ordinary corolla's and civic's.

Lets face it, in pakistan (and for that matter all the rest of the under-developed countries) it's mostly - dare I say all the times - that when some people buy such swanky vehicles, the motive that lies at the core of their decision is to make a statement, the statement that reads, "in your face you minnows and commoners, the road now belongs to my dad OR me...!"
it's hardly ever a matter of taste or choice.. if he really intended to keep a "low profile" by choosing a colour that would only suit fuddy duddys, he could have easily gone for an altogether different car in almost the same price bracket with much greater luxury and yet not as pretentious.. how about an S65 AMG, one of many other sedans navigating the local traffic, almost blending in with the rest of the lot and the backdrop..?

I can bet that the choice of colour was not influenced in any way whatsoever by the fact that the owner wanted to keep a so called, "low profile".. that I can be 100% sure of..
