Limousines are special purpose vehicles. There are limos owned by business people that serve as their mobile office. They are equipped with every convenience and productivity tool required to conduct business on the go. Then there are limos designed for pleasure. The emphasis is on PLEASURE. Limos in Las Vegas are a good example; they are opulent, plush and extravagant. They are also used for weddings, proms and other celebratory occasions. We also have limos that are used for general transportation needs; to and from the airport, transporting VIPs, built and bomb proof applications etc.
My point is; Limos are built to serve special needs. That is why there are numerous designs and just as many different vehicles used to design them. The vehicle used to make a lime is not wasted; it is repurposed.
