The Fiat 500 is utilitarian that has a body of three doors and four seats. It will be on sale as of November of 2007. It maintains characteristics of the first Fiat 500.
It measures 3.55 ms of length, the width is 1.65 ms and the height 1.49 M.s Is slightly more length than Bulging Fiat, but he is much more low and it has a line of completely different body. The maletero of Fiat 500 has volume of 185 ls.
At the moment of the launching he will be available with a range of three motors. A two of gasoline (1.2 ls and 69 CV) and 1.4 l of 100 CV. The Diesel engine is 1,3 Multijet of 75 CV. All have a manual change of five marches, except for the one of 100 CV, that have it of six. More ahead, the gasoline motors will be able to have an automatic change of five marches (that can mainly be very interesting in a car like Fiat 500 destined for city).
A thing that characterizes to Fiat 500 is that it can have more equipment of which usually is habitual in cars of this type (with some exception, like the Mini ones), specially the one that it has to do with the security.
Still the equipment for Spain is not defined. In Italy all the versions will have of seven series airbags (frontal, lateral, of head and one for the knees of the conductor), Isofix fixations. It can have light of day march (something unpublished in a car of this type) and control of stability with assistant of starting in hill.
The optional equipment can be very rich. There is predicted a climatizador (in addition to the conditioned air), will be able to have the system “Blue&Me” (q ue includes Bluetooth connection for the telephone, voice recognition, port USB and reader of MP3.
After the lanamiento, this system will take integrated navigator “Blue&Me METRIC TON Nav” (with cartography in a memory pencil. This system allows to listen to music loaded in the same portable memory where it is the cartography simultaneously that is used the navigator). Also there is predicted a portable navigator (“Blue&MeT MAP 500”) with preinstallation, that in addition to the navigator, allows to manage some functions of the sound system from the controls of the steering wheel, like the system of sound, the telephone and voice recognition.
It can have two types of solar ceiling. One of fixed crystal and another one with a movable crystal (“Sky Dome”).
For the maletero there are predicted separators to organize the load and networks to hold the bulks.
What it can have neither in option, are lights of xenon, nor automatic parking brake.
There will be several levels of equipment: basic, luxurious and with certain sport direction. The sport finished one has chromed seats with greater lateral subjection, details (like pomo of the change), leather details and an instrumentation with a peculiar design.
There are a range of 12 colors for the body (among them, a target of three layers) and 15 combinations to decorate the interior (also there are leather seats of several tones).
The level of personalización in the concessionaire will be very great. For example, it can have stickers with diverse reasons to decorate the body and accessories for the interior (as an electrical diffuser of perfumes and housings of colors you stop the keys). In addition, some elements chromed for the outside will be available, as covers chromed for the rear view mirrors, the moldings in the hood and paragolpes front.
The design of Fiat 500 is very similar to the one of the Trepiùno prototype, that FIAT showed at the beginning of 2004. A style detail that characterizes to Fiat 500 is that the back inner door is tended; in most of utilitarian of the this size back moon it has a perpendicular fall practically to the ground.
This model of Fiat 500 has been designed by the Center Stile Fiat and it will be constructed in the factory of Tichy (Poland).
