Hello Imran: I am in a problem!!! I need CAM PULLY for my FIAT UNO?? I had contacted Shahid mehmood Lakvi ,he told dat u will find cam pully at BILAL GUNJ round about PKR 1000. Ok i will try to check as soon i go to Bilal Gunj BTW its used engine/engine parts must be easily avialable in rawalpindi since many of the Unos in twin cities got new motors from other brands. In Lahore trend of conversion is relatively less in case of Fiat Uno.

The complete manual specifcaly for Uno Diesel is not avilable with us but the pages u found on the forum covers all important specs related to 1.7 D engine. Though i will try to search some material in my Database which can add value to this thread.

hi:Imran the cam pully not sliped ,but it got a (play). as u saying i will go to pindi , so should i go and find in which market???
concerning with @karthicksmidth .I have a complete user manual on a hard copy.but I have no scaner to scane each page and load on our thread.

Models covered
Fiat Uno 45, 55, 60, 70, 1.1 and 1.4, including Turbo ie and special/limited editions
903 cc, 999 cc, 1108 cc, 1116 cc, 1299 cc, 1301 cc and 1372 cc petrol engines with manual transmissions

Does not Selecta, Fiorino type vans or Diesel engine.

But i need a Diesel engine 1700 cc related manual.

setting the belt timing is fun just like my VW diesel..
Has anyone of you bought the cam lock tool - that you insert in place of the vacuum pump.. the cam pulley has play to take up belt slack and head shavings while the cam stays in place.

My VW has a completely free cam pulley on a taper, the cam is locked from the back and then adjusted.

This is a very very good car if someone knows how to fix it, Like my diesel Golf was amazing to drive and run around 22 km/lit is very cheap IMO..

The local mechanics will destroy this car in no time if you let them loose on it.

The car is pleasure to drive but as Xulfiqar said the routine mechanic would destroy this even most of the mechanics refuses to fix minute issues in this car so if u r not a technical person so u shud avoid buying this car

Sorry delay in replay from fiat uno member ! you will find all body parts from Lahore at montgomery ,there is narrow a market and da famous (LAKVI) fait uno spare parts shop.
