FIND ME Ford Model 48!

Very, very new to this forum, or any forum for that matter, so, hello all! I probably will not get any kind of reply but its worth trying, right?
I've a project in mind but, unfortunately, as things are, nobody prefers(or cannot afford?) american builds but there was a time when such cars did exist in Pakistan. I am looking for one in particular, a ford model 48. Now, i know i'll never find one in Peshawar but there is a chance of finding one outside of Peshawar, right? I would like to know if anybody has seen this car around, or even seen it in a junkyard some where. Condition matters as far as it can be rolled on to a back of a trailer, or any transport system. Ummmm, i'll post some pictures?
OH! and it should be a Coupe, no matter what! Basically, it needs to be a hard top 2-seater.

Request the moderators to close this thread and you can start a new one in the correct section (VCCCP) of Pakwheels. Anyway, most probably you will draw a blank there too. This sort of car is not seen in these parts. But, it is worth a try anyway. Are you located in Peshawar? If you are located in Karachi, you can meet up with the President of the VCCCP and have a chat with him.

BTW, the VCCCP has a rally from Karachi to Peshawar every year for the last 4 or so years. The next rally will be in November this year. Quite a few of the members, including the President, will be in Peshawar. You can meet up with them; show them a picture of what you are looking for. Who knows maybe you get lucky.

But since this guy is planning to do some project so this is the correct section.
at the same time he is looking to buy this car, so buyers/sellers section would be best fit for this.
Because the car is vintage, that's why you are also right that this thread should belong to VCCCP.
