Salam Brothers,
Yesterday I managed to make my first trip on my YBR across Margalla Hills.
It was a Blind Trip because i didn't know my destination, all i knew was to go as far as the road goes.
The journey started from the Bottom of Margalla Hills
Soon after some turns it was evident that hill side bike riding is totally different than normal road riding.
Nevertheless i continued very carefully continuous clutch use & gear shifting.
I made my first stop at this point for 2-3 minutes
Then i started again and after a few turns i again stopped for some rest and photography but somehow i lost those photos.
Then Again I started the journey and again after few turns stopped at a point with a tree. A man sitting there talking on his mobile called the point "bohrri wala chowk".
After that point i travelled continuously and passed Monal and other land marks along the way.
At this point here. As i was passing by i saw these goats so i stopped and photographed them also my-self and the bike.
Then after another continuous travel for various minutes i found a shady place with a water stream. Stopped there and found that stream has small sized fishes and colourful crabs.
Unfortunately there were 2 crabs and both ran away as soon as i realised them as "crabs" and tried to take a photograph.
Another Stop after some minutes. Tripmeter was clocking 60km at this point.
After another 20Km a bridge came by so i stopped and snapped it.
Then after sometime Landscape changed entirely. Instead of trees now the mountains were bare and only decorated by grass. It was amazing as how the change came so abruptly.
Bike and Stones at the very point.
Leaving Margalla Hills behind. At this point I was frustrated because trip meter was already showing 90+ km and i was hell tired. I took to Google Maps and it showed i was in Haripur Hazara.
After this i packed every thing up in my bag and rushed back to Islamabad via Haripur and then Taxilla and then Islamabad.
Overall it was a good experience but a very tiring one. The trip meter at the end of journey showed 160km.
Thanks.
