I would like to get honest reviews and comments as I am planning to move to 4*4 category for the first time with a limited budget. Preference is to buy Toyota Surf or Toyota Prado both in 96-2000 model ranges. There are few concerns which if clarified by the owners, will be helpful:
- What is the major difference between Petrol 2.7 and 3.0 or 3.4 engines? Which one should I target?
- I have seen ads where users have swapped engines from diesel to petrol, what are the specific reason?
- 2.7 petrol are relatively cheaper, where I can relate it to the power delivery which I have experienced in Fortuner petrol and diesel, is it so?
- I will have to use it as a daily driven vehicle 40km/day on average, which definitely can be affordable.
Please let me know if I need to clarify anything to get answers to my questions.
