First time drive to nathia gali in winters

Hi everybody,

As a mini honeymoon, I am (with my wife of-course) planning to go to nathia gali for two nights (3days) this week. I am a new driver and I have a Prius 2007.
1. Do you guys think the road conditions are safe for the travel this week?
2. Also, would you recommend me to drive all the way to nathia gali from Islamabad, considering that I only drove in the mainlands (multan to islamabad) or take a rented car?
3. Please suggest some decent but economical accomodation and places to see in and around nathia gali.

If you are driving first time on hills, then I would not recommend you to go on your driving. I drove many times and almost all hilly areas in Pakistan but still driving on snow is entirely a different and most difficult task.
Be safe and get expert driver from Islamabad.

well the road is not a problem for any driver but the season mite pose some issues. u must watch weather forecast and if its going to snow then u must avoid driving urself...

travel on days with no fresh snow fall
travel on weekday to avoid traffic jam
check hotel elite.should be better then the rest

in case of heavy snow get pick and drop service from professional service.(rent a car etc)
