Have you guys heard of engine swaps of original petrol with 1JZ or 2JZ for these monsters. Which is the most recommended petrol engine for 40 series now.

Bro have heard a lot about engine swaps but we forget one thing that these are machines which are 50 year old.Its not just the engine that needs to be changed it is the whole set up. These are heavy rides once u take them to a certain speed its a lot harder to control them and break them if needed.
I strongly disagree with anyone who thinks these machine are built to be swaped with engines like ijz or 2jz.
I think we all know about a up model prado being swaped with a 1jz and wat happened in the end, at least all the pakwheelers know about it.
Its dangerous in cars and stupid in jeeps with out proper homework and research.
At least thats what i think.

The best engine for me to put in to a 40 would be 3f as it originally comes with it . Closer u stay to the stock machine the easier ur life gets.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 40 series came with a 2F, 3Fs came in the 62 and 70 series LCs

Dont know much about petrol engines as abhi tak wasta nahi parha but i would go for a 3f rather than a 2f in my fj40 if i am ready to make a swap.
