Spoken like a champ @mubutt . I would like to add my perspective and desire. I have and will keep fj40 for a daily drive and weekend offroad machine.
Not true. I drive mine everyday and I get about 10 km/l. I have a 1KZ 3000 turbo installed. Maintaining is not much of a problem either, like any diesel, water and oil needs to be checked almost daily plus you need to warm it up a little in the winters before heading out.

Saw an Auctioned Vehicle in Yazman. It was in auction colors. But running. The owner is using it for election campaign. Running it on LPG... He had no idea about its registration procedure.. I briefed him n he got scared... Now the vehicle is for sale... Lol..

Just got to know.... There is a litigation issue of army auctioned vehicles so no registration anywhere until this issue is resolved
