I have read all 263 posts of this thread and people like me need to know these details as you needed before you got your rig.

It's running on original 2F and original differentials. With original free wheel hubs. Everything was removed and overhauled or replaced where required.

Got a registered vehicles , registered in Islamabad. This saved the withholding tax amount.

Getting a few things fixed and will quote the final amount spend on the rig.

got 55W lights installed they look good but I am not satisfied with the intensity of the light.

Will check if I can either get 100w halogen bulbs or 100w Led. Other wise will change them.

Just an advise all local or Chinese lights are just so so,

I got couple of pair with 55w bulbs but the light was crap so I changed it to SMDs but the light is still crap.

It's just got off roading and night driving. I try to get all the cosmetic wiring done from switch power line. No other cut and joints anywhere else. I know vintage cars need a steady hand when comes to wiring. Thanks for giving this pointer to new enthusiasts.

Apparently you gotca a clean rig with elegant look. People with good taste prefer restoring vintage vehicles especially field hardware .
All new enthusiasts & old hands get benefits here , as we share our experience just for the love n respect of such vehicles in particular ,
FJz are very monstrous in their performance n look & seldom needs any face-lift . Their beauty is actually their simplicity & closeness to the originality with stock position . 2 F power pack should be the constant trade mark unless its BJ. in most of the cases idealization & suggestions by worthy mechanics temper the originality , however modifications for the present challenges have much space due to number of options available . But the present outdoor environments are much easier , good populated , connected & accessible before the yester years . No doubt its a dream vehicle & one must make his dream come true . These jeeps are all time favorites .

Totally agreed that's why I restored the original engine. Even though every one suggested to change the engine tranny and even differentials. For better performance and fuel efficiency.
I am an old school guy and believe to keep the vehicles in original condition. I have a thing for lights and that's something I can't resist lol. The only addition which is required is the seat belts.
