Thank you for the valuable insights based on your experience.
I referred my thread to the real experts (clearly I am not one yet) because keeping a 4x4 like potohar and a convert like cj7 with an altered engine and keeping a stock/original 4x4 like an fj are world apart. Wanted to make the best possible choice while restoring.
And a real rig can be a daily drive but can never be a car..... it depends on the workmanship and effort made on it......

    Yes it can be a daily drive if one can afford 4 or 5 KM/L ...... many ppl cant afford a petrol bill of 25000 to 30000 per month for a 50km daily commute :)

A small compact lightweight easy to maintain, easy to find parts for, fuel economical 4x4 suits my needs well for mainly family trips to North (Gilgit Baltistan Kashmir Sawat Kaghan and several others etc etc) and sometimes with friends. So I was after some early model of Jimny mainly for soft-top. Jimny suits me really well for following reasons
1. Small family, me, wife and two kids.
2. My budget has limits but I want to have clean and capable ride, Zuks meet these conditions really well in mean clean tension-free ride in restricted budget, and capable of doing everything whatever test I can put it into.
3. Ease of maintenance and fuel economy are my top priorities.
4. Last but NOT LEAST, I love old soft-top Zuks, sach poochain tu

By the way my search is over now, have found my dream 4x4, just payment and possession thing is left. I will post details soon.

My fj is not burning fuel properly. Fuel vapors are coming out from exhaust. I think the jets have become a little enlarged.
Any easy fix ????

This is normally a problem with the air and fuel mixture as your fuel injector may be sending too much gas through the engine and not all is burning. This can easily be fixed by having your engine properly tuned. You also may not be using the correct brand of gasoline. Therefore the engine and exhaust are not working properly which results in gas like odors emerging. You may also find that the fuel injector is clogged and needs cleaning. Another cause of this gas smell is a stuck choke if you have a carburetor.
