Same issue happened with our FJ. Carburettor was cleaned and set, and tuning was done. Now running perfect MA. Otherwise was giving too much smoke.

A small compact lightweight easy to maintain, easy to find parts for, fuel economical 4x4 suits my needs well for mainly family trips to North (Gilgit Baltistan Kashmir Sawat Kaghan and several others etc etc) and sometimes with friends. So I was after some early model of Jimny mainly for soft-top. Jimny suits me really well for following reasons
1. Small family, me, wife and two kids.
2. My budget has limits but I want to have clean and capable ride, Zuks meet these conditions really well in mean clean tension-free ride in restricted budget, and capable of doing everything whatever test I can put it into.
3. Ease of maintenance and fuel economy are my top priorities.
4. Last but NOT LEAST, I love old soft-top Zuks, sach poochain tu

By the way my search is over now, have found my dream 4x4, just payment and possession thing is left. I will post details soon.

i had a casual visit at Sher-Shah... was basically there to check if any good winches surfaced or not (there werent any) but i did find couple of 3f and 2f Carbs....... by the looks of it they were decent enough and the there wasnt any play in valve, it was costing around 5K.

My question is; if i place a 3f carb on my 2f engine what difference would it make .... @adilfj40 have you done the same? or got something else installed ??

Yes, but it will need to be used with the 3F manifold and exhaust...not certain, but it may also require the later 3F head that is found on all post 85 2Fs...it might bolt up to the 2F head, but not certain...

Before and after detailing comparison, i was thinking of getting it done at a service station but gave it a try my self............ the results are good........

1) wash the car with any washing agent. i usually use 3M's phosphate free but it does not remove the wax protection if any. using microfiber towels.
2) after drying (using microfiber cloth) applied polish with orbital polisher i think its either Torq's or BnD cant remember since its pretty old.
3) applied wax. i used either mother's or 3M's
4)changed the indicators
5) Used random tyre (rubber) shiner (foam based)

and a lot of love
