Dear folks, we are restoring fj40 completely in bone stock looks and it's own engine... So currently we've disassembled the engine just because it was giving 100-120 average compression and was eating oil..
Upon opening found out two seized Pistons... With rough crank shaft. And too much sludge accumulation.
The LC looks pretty much stock! although the engine is in pretty bad shape. interesting project and i am awaiting the outcome!
Thanks bro. And yes it's pretty much stock no cheap mods done yet. The end user has just bought this and we will be doing.
1)engine rebuild2)carb swap3)paint and denting in stock colour 4) interior restoration5)brakes fix
