Hi Guys

I hope everyone is doing OK in these difficult times.

I am planning to start the FJ40 project with toyota V8 ( 2UZ or 1UR) transplant.

My Question for experts is...

Can we Swap the frame in Pakistan ( I would love to do it with LC80 frame as it would make life a lot easier)and maybe a 3UR can be considered)

is there any legal frame work to follow?

Ashir Azeem has done this exactly with his HJ45 (pickup) on an LC80 frame. Frame swap is not legal per say, but people have invented ways to make it legal

Short and sweet Frame holds the documents. You would have to buy an 80 Series and then put on an FJ40 body on it. Body Tax will have to be paid afterwards to make it legal.
