Toyota will showcase it's first flex-fuel car for the Indian car market , a latest generation Toyota Corolla sedan. The car is powered by Toyota’s 2.0-litre petrol engine capable of running on E85 ethanol, along with a strong hybrid technology. This model is being developed in collaboration with Brazil which has become a leader in ethanol blended fuel and is second only to the US in ethanol production. India , being a sugar and corn surplus producing nation is looking to cash in on this technology.
