Flooded 2014 Toyota aqua need help

Hello I have a 2014 Toyota aqua that was flooded and all the computers in the car was destroyed. I have replaced all with the same part numbers from Japan and now that car seems to have life. I can get in ignition but some times it would turn off automatically and then back on. all the computers that I have changed were the computer multiplex body(fuse box), smart key and the power management control. Also when I unplug the smart key computer the car stays on ignition and doesn't turn off automatically. Could it be a bad smart key computer that is causing it to turn off. I also had a locksmith come to reprogram the computers but he was unable to get it to work. I also have a hybrid system warning light, I have not fan on the hybrid battery and no abs computer. Could that cause the light and prevent the car from being programmed. Please any help would be appreciated I don't want to buy parts that I already have only I know it is faulty I would have to.

First of all If you have flood insurance claim it as flooded cars usually have endless electrical issues and does not worth to retain them. If it is damaged by ocean water then the issues could be more severe.

Well I brought it from the insurance in an attempt to fix it. This morning I did some cleaning and and cleaned the push button and the car cycles through the accessories and ignition normally but it does not start. I also have a hybrid system warning light and codes came as hybrid fan and airbag. I don't have them pluged because I have to wait for them to come in but could that prevent the car from starting ?

you need to leave car under sun for with doors hatch & hood open.

leave it to dry completely. HYBRID Synergy drive generate DC 440 HV any mis adventure may cost life.

once the vehicle is completely dry, scan and start from cleaning the hybrid battery fan duct., use a hair drier over warm-setting and dry-clean all electrical connections to ecu multimedia, etc etc etc

one step at a time & vehicle will come to life.

The car is completely dry and is working normal it just would not start and I have a hybrid system warning light. I also brought a new (used) hybrid battery pack would it need to be programmed to work with my car

no, battery pack is plug in play. make sure primary 12 volt battery is dis-connected when battery pack is replaced.

Ok but I am getting the red lock symbol in the bottom left corner when I turn on ignition, in some videos I see online it turns off when in ignition but on mines it still flashes does this mean my key fob needs programming ? Because I replaced all the computers it would need to be reprogram

Would anyone know the process of reprogramming the new ecu to get the car started. The is now working fine but it just would not start. I am still getting the flashing lock symbol on the bottom left corner. Also if the hybrid battery is low would the car start, it has 2 bars.

that particular lock symbol is related to FOB KEY (SMART KEY) Immobilizer is not read the key in proximity car will not start . It will start at push of button if the correct key is in range

What I want to know now is how can I program 2 different ecu from different cars to work together. The smart key ecu and the power management control ecu are from 2 different aquas. But when I brought the smart key ecu it came with a key and it can lock and unlock doors as well as turn on ignition but the car would not start because the power control management ecu is not programmed to the smart key ecu. I had a locksmith try register a new key with a OBDSTAR X300 DP but it would not work. Is there anyone with the knowledge that could help me with this?

Usually there is an option for VIN number registration and initialization which needs to be done via scanner when new components are installed in your case the SMART KEY ECU and Hybrid control one. Smart Key ECU is NOT plug and play and needs to be mated to the ECM before u can start ur car. So first of all have ur car initialize the Smart key ECU with ECM for it to work.

What is the process to initialize the smart key ecu to the hybrid ecm? And is the VIN number really necessary to change in order to start the car? What the locksmith was trying was to program another key with a scan tool hoping it would work but the key that came with the smart key ecu came from a different car and the hybrid ecu from another. Can the initialization be done with Toyota techstream. I am just learning about these things for the past 2 months I may know a little

Good day all I still have not got the car started. I just wanted to know the part number of the ecu I brought were the same but it came from a aqua g and I have aqua s would it not work ?

cross check the ECU Part no for both ecu, you need identical ECU to sync with rest of vehicle system.

Yes the part numbers are the same and the car can lock and unlock with the smart key ecu. What I know is that the aqua g only difference with the ecu is that it has cruise control while the aqua I have aqua s does not. And the engine are different like the aqua I have had 1nz-fxe and the one I brought has 1nz-1lm but I did not change the engine ecu only smart key, power management control and main body. Does those ecu have anything to do with the engine ?

of course every engine have its own ECU to match fuel trims / ignition timing / VSS input / transmission shift control

an FXE is HYBRID engine prefix and ECU of FXE engine will not match the regular engine
check OTTO & ATKINSON cycle engines for understanding
