Hope all is well, and the month of Ramazan is going great for everybody across nation. Last meet was awesome and it was short and un-planned, I have talked to our club member and we have come up with a brilliant idea. An SQ IFTAAR PARTY.. Yeah.. Lets meet again, and share great times with our fellow members. Those who like/dislike the idea can share their thoughts. This invitation is open for everyone whoever likes to gusta.

For venue and date we can mutually decide, its Iftaar so we need to spare more time. And then afterwards we can go back to our rides and share some thoughts/tracks.

All members from twin cities, Lahore and its kirdo nawah are welcome to join us. For Karachi/Hyderabad guys, we'll call you up and say hi.. You know who I am referring to..

What an interesting discovery and revelation. I have already emailed Dr. Shaggy and thought I'd post here as well since I signed up specially. I'd like to make a short film/documentary on your community. On the quest for sound in a noise oriented category. Now please tell me that after spending a million on the systems, there are some who listen to Floyd and the likes on them.

While I'm at it, I have been thinking about taking the Focal plunge but in the course of my profession, I have experienced Dynaudio quite a lot. Sadly, I haven't had the chance to listen to them in a car. For that matter, not even Focals. Coffee is on me for whoever can volunteer a demo of Mark Knopfler Our Shangri-La on their Focal for me :P.

Today I converted another friend of mine to Focal (Shuaib Da) Hes a non-pw'er, and he started with a basic setup in his civic reborn. After the install, I could see the sparkle in his eyes, he really loved it. We wish him gusta luck in his future SQ endevours...

His setup:

Stock HU Multi-CD Player (Reborn 2007)
Focal Access 165 A1
Kenwood (4 Ch) Amplifier
Jbl Subwoofer (in ported enclosure)
Kenwood 718 (on the rear deck)

Guys I want to know something, he is using his stock cd player which does not come with RCA ports, and hes using Pioneer RCA output adapters, which is obviously not a good idea. Is there any way that he can get RCA's from his unit? I had another friend who got stock DVD NAVI, we bought RCA jacks from Honda and it worked well. This is the only problem faced. I guess HU replacement is the last option.

No, hes different. As i mentioned hes got 2007 model. The one who got brand new is 2012..

I seek advice from all you audio gurus. i have posted my same query and madhouse12 suggested me to either have MS-8 or replace the DVD NAVI. MS-8 is out of my budget so what could be the solution, if i dont want to replace the HU (may be it could be done in second stage after some time)?

One of the solutions is to get a 4 channel amp which has speaker level inputs and use the speaker cables from your Navi Unit instead of the RCAs.

One of my friends with DVD NAVI in his Reorn had this issue, we contacted Honda and asked them for the 5.1 RCA jacks, they actually pull it out so that they could sale it latter on for extra cash in their pocket, I know some guys who can get you these jack. It comes with 5 RCA's for your surround, two RCA for your back seat LCD's and couple of other jacks. This would be your only option mate.

Madhouse bro: Tell me if its possible to solder out RCA jacks from the stock pre? My friend is suffering from some real SQ issues. Also, tell me how can I do it?

Now coming onto the next part which 4 ch Amp do you suggest and what should be the combination of components and speakers i can have in budget of around 20-25K (it could be stretched further)?
