I've been looking and asking but all attempts have been futile. can YOU please tell me where i can get the best lassi in islamabad? AND where can i get a taste of the most amazing not-so-expensive pasta?

well try glass of lassi at Refreshment Center (Commercial market/ Satellite Town Rawalpindi).
However, as stated by Ravager, the twin cities do not offer the type of lassi Lahore /Central Punjab offer.

Xinhua is a pretty good Chinese restaurant in F-10/3. I kinda liked it better than china town, though the prices are comparable.

2. Sufi Restaurant F-10 ki boneless chicken Handi
3. Des Perdes Saddar ki Nau Rangi Angethi
4. Texas Steak House Saddar ke Steaks
5. Tandoori Restaurant G-8 ke lamb roast
6. Tuscany Court Yaard ka Pizza - Tuscany Court Yard has different and unique tastes. You like it all when you try it.
7. Tehzeeb ka Pizza/Salads/Cakes

All are awesome

1. Islamabad Club taste was quite good and natural.
2. Virsa Cafe has quite good taste as well.
3. Hotel De Papae

All these restaurants have tastes with less spices. Which is in itself a skill to make taste without extra spices.

Roll Parathas of that corner restaurant at the end of Scheme III market is delicious and could not be compared to any other place in whole RWP/ISB. I unfortunately don't remember its name. If anyone can give its name it will be helpful. Thanks.

i have tried steaks at both the places you mentioned, Bull Steak House (Bahria Town) does excellent steaks. The only problem they have is their location. I mean unless someone tells you in advance that here is a restaurant you wont know even if you are standing near the restaurant. It is poorly lit on the outside. However, when you go there and eat food there, you will become it fan from that moment onwards.
I also like steaks at Captain Cook (Jinnah Super, islamabad)
